Good evening. what are the dimensions of the screen you installed?

Thank you very much for sharing! I am wondering how much are the ram and rom for your stereo? Do you have any recommendation about the minimum for smoothly running?

Hi Lu, I have this stereo for 1.5 year and it's okay. For me, the ram is 2GB and the rom is 32GB. For sure, 4GB of ram would be better if the Android is customized properly.

Thanks for the tutorial! Unfortunately, I don't saw the part when you place the navigated antenna. Also, can you give me an recommendations about an android device for my Skoda Rapid, but with more inches and physicals buttons? I prefer Podofo firm. Thanks in advance!

You are right. The antenna is placed on a plate over the head unit. You can attach that to the windscreen or any other place. You should check the signal with GPS Test app to find the best place. Unfortunately, it's very hard to find a head unit for this car with bigger screen AND physic buttons due to the limited available space. There is a trade off between these two parameters.

Hi, The head unit has some pins for connecting steering wheel control. Also, there is a steering wheel control setting in the menu, but I never tried that personally, since my car has no steering wheel keys.

I double checked the link and apparently they still have the same model as mine. The screen size is 7 inches but it has keys and nubs as well. a.aliexpress.com/_Ez6hnVt

It depends on your head unit model. But, I suggest to check the wi-fi antenna. There are two wires that act as an BT and wi-fi antenna. They have been shown in this video too.

I'm not sure. But as a guess, there is a socket on the power cable that you should disconnect when you are using CAN box. You should double check that to make sure your device goes off when the car is off.

Hi, Yes. I am very happy with that after 3.5 years of work and no issue. It does not get hot, however my place never gets warm. I was always worry about the durability of the keys and nubs after years of work, but they are still fine, so far.

@@konradwallenrod9056 The microphone's sound quality is not very good specifically for the right handed cars as the microphone is on the left. I don't talk with phone too much otherwise you need an external one.
