Thanks for these videos bought a v2 on marketplace for under $100 and doing the upgrade now. The autopilot compass threw me for a loop but found good information on your ipilot video as to what I should do with those extra wires.

Nice i have my oldtown Autopilot 120 motor apart i believe i can add the powerdrive version of advanced gps drift mode on the yak will be so awesome.

This is awesome!! I inherited a PD V1 with a cheap boat I bought last year. I figured this was all possible, since the advanced features are just about manipulating the same old hardware.

Hi, I just completed installation, thanks for the video. I have a question, I have a Lowrance HDS live 9, can I connected to this trolling motor? What advantages will I get? I just installed the hds-9 too.

i have an older v1? powerdrive that looks the same as the one in the video but the serial# starts with mkaf does that mean i cant use this kit?

I have a PowerDrive 42lb/54 inch shaft/ foot controlled but my serial has no bt at the end. Can I upgrade it with a kit to get all of these features or is it not compatible?

Can a v2 powerdrive be upgraded to a Terrova head, control board, and foot pedal ?

I fear I know the answer, but are these available in Canada?

If I’ve upgraded a v1 power drive to a v2 control board and foot pedal. Can I just order the v2 kit Without the control board ?

Yes, since you’ve already changed to the V2 control board, you’ll need the V2 Kit for 2007-2016 models. This will come with the new style bottom base, but no control board. trollingmotorparts.com/minn-kota-powerdrive-advanced-gps-upgrade-kit/

Did you fix it? When i had the same issue with my terrova it was simply that the button (which is only thin plastic) did not reach the actual button on the circuit board. I pit a piece of rubber in between so it reached and it fixed it. Hope it helps!
