Gingium is there a KZread playlist or any kind of set of tutorials to fixing up and improving a Miata? I have a 1993 that’s been sitting in storage for years and I’ve been saving up to make it my daily car

You should add a trunk release button inside the car...Now that you already have the actuator installed in the trunk it will be super easy, and trust me it is surprisingly useful. Any momentary switch will work.

Holy crap dude. This video just reduced the age of your miata tenfold. Way to bring a 90s icon up to date! Love how Molly is shaping up to be a perfect daily for an enthusiast. Also maybe make some locks for the hardtop or the hardmount non removable tabs so everything is completely secured.. love the vids!

I daily drive my 90’ Miata during the summer and if I lived in a less rust infested area I’d probably drive it all year original a/c still works amazing and the heat works awesome. I love the simplicity of the interior.

Honestly your Miata is the cleanest one I've ever seen, and with the next upgrades to Molly would just make it 10x better and cooler

Did this years ago. One of my best mods! 2nd to that is 2 led strips installed at the top of windshield and wired to a switch for a bright dome light!

Most Miata guys I know use the built-in keyless system called "leave your doors unlocked so that nobody slashes your top".

Great mod, great info...!!! One mod I did on mine was to add a relay so as soon as car is started the lights pop up and they all turn on. It is to prevent me from driving with lights off ever. The car is small and like a motorcycle people dont always see it. I notice much less close calls. I also added Duneli sound bomb air horn. The lights relay works off the 3 wires that jet out the side of the turn signal stem. Red, 2 whites. Red & white(ground)=headlights. White & white (ground)=parking lights.

This summer I am daily driving my 01 Nb. A nice Pioneer head unit adapted to use the very decent Bose speakers. When I move the car to my Phoenix home I'll get a hardtop. I love this car, just a fantastic and balanced car.

I been wanting a miata for nearly 5 years (since I start driving) and I still watching you're videos over and over to see what I'm going to do with the one that I going to get at some point

I daily mine. I like the process of whipping the key out, opening the door and starting the car. Sit there, almost in a meditative state, and drive.

I know I’m two years late but instead of hooking it up to the lights, you could have connected it to the horn so it beeps like most other cars with keyless entry. Of course, those other cars also flash the lights too. I guess it’s just a preference.

That intro made me think that you would do great with a car based info channel....you know with videos about cars and stuff to know etc...but with you just as the narrator you know what I mean? Haha that intro was preeeeeetty nice, your voice is very chilling to listen too

I think he meant that in the miata the battery is in the trunk from stock and since gingium doesn't own really any other car then miatas except for the drift truck it would be hard to make a video on it, except maybe a friend of him wants to do it and he can do a video on that or something like that

I'm loving this! I bought a mk1 miata as my first car and am daily driving it now for a few months. Can't wait to see what you will do to improve it, maybe I can do up some inspiration for my built. I think a new audio system will be step one.

There's a thing, idk if it's a Kickstarter but you can use it if Molly (or any other car) has an OBD2 diagnostic port. It's a licence plate frame with a built in reversing camera. You attach it, put in the OBD2 dongle thing and download the app. It seems to work very well. The battery even claims to have 7 months of life

Be careful with those locks, a friend of mine has one of those kits in his nb-fl and it just locks randomly so be sure to always have your keys with you when you're not in your car

Very well done. I wish this had been available when I updated my 1997 with keyless entry, remote trunk release, and one-touch, automatically-closing windows. I paid a shop to to install the control modules and although everything works, I am not happy with the installer's shoddy work.

I had an 02 ranger. Wasnt keyless. Have my 05 silverado. Every bell and whistle besides the sunroof. Love it and wont trade down.

Where I'm from we wouldn't class this as keyless entry, To me keyless entry means you have a fob that you unlock and lock the car with and when you get in the car put in the cupholder or somewhere and start the car with a start button meaning keyless entry. It was a good video and educational Keep it up 😃

For the subwoofer you can do a 8” hideaway sub that goes under the seat. These include the sub and the amp in a tiny package. I believe kicker makes one. I look forward to seeing your audio install video

I just bought a Lanzar dct15 for my car and I'm super stoked for when it arrives its gonna be bangin. i might even buy another later on cause im using it in a passive radiator box but i could take out the passive radiator and put it another one xD

I daily drove it and had no issues: had a/c, and trunk release btw, didnt feel cramped for me. Audio had some hogh power speakers front and headrest speakers, was good a good audio

He needs to bring these type of videos back I miss the Miata 😓
