If you notice, is that if you spool to the grabber, by design it will reverse spool the rope onto the drum (while still leaving 5 wraps on the drum). This prevents ever getting to the end of the rope.

Dear Fred , do you know what the melting point is of them their bubba rope winchumout strangs is? I've often thunk I might outa swap out my steel metal cable wire for somethin lighter. My 8274 DBLRR is heavy, it wern''t too bad with the twins motors, but after I bolted up the gears vender over drives it's really heavy. When I pull out in traffik my jeep just don't gitter movin like it used to. My jeep need to loose some weights if I want to keep dating unckles daughter Tammy. She keeps a gittin bigger every week and my jeep keeps a gittin slower. People say it's cause she's with child, but I know that can't be true. We ain't even slept together for first two weeks cause my brother took it hard when they broke up, and the one time we did do it we used a brand new condems. My 8274 DBLRR has a top speeds of 1189 feet per dip, which we all know creates a lotta heats and I'm worried them plastic strangs can't handle it. I wanta loose weight, keep datin unckles fat daughter Tammy, and pull furds out the bogs on friday night. Fred, do you think them their bubba ropes strings is a good choice for me?

Pretty much same concept of keeping the rope on as we use in the Tugboat industry to keep our 2 1/4in Tow Wire on the tow winch drum. You don't need no stinkin bolt. Just don't run it out to the red and you're fine.
