Nice clean install Dr. I concur with the comment of deadbolts not having the the rebate not deep enough for the full throw of the bolt on some installs. I find that a common theme with handyman installs and new home build installs. It's either ignorance or close enough is good enough when they are installed. I wonder if they realise that if incorrectly fitted the bolt is basically a lazy bolt vunerable to manipulation. I have cut one of the allen keys at the end, rounded off the end and use my cordless to secure the screws. I find it so much quicker and efficient. To be honest i'm just bloody lazy. lol. Cheers:-)

Installed my Brava set exactly as shown. The key turns with great difficulty on both sides, and not all the way either. When I release the tension on the 2 machine screws that hold the 2 sections together, the key turns with ease. I have tried several marginally differing positions for the 2 sides, but as soon as I tighten the screws, the key won't turn. Please help. 😪
