Watching another of your vids, commenting here. A while back you mentioned two watercolor diaries. Edith Holden and Janet Marsh. Well, I found a third, Catherine Hamilton and got all three for a bargain on EBay!!!! I am in retired Horticulturist/Botanist Heaven. Can't wait to cut them up and use them in my new venture into junk journaling. I'm in a good state of mind, compared to a while back, and I want to THANK YOU!💕. Your vids are easy to follow, full of ideas, and wonderful humor! I am working on my journals, being creative. I am cooking and baking again. Playing in the dirt, gardening. And best of all, being my present with my family. Keep being an inspiration to all who enjoy your teaching!

That’s why I buy and save all kinds of crafting stuff!! I retired this summer at 62 but only bc I hurt myself gardening really hard and had to get a new knee now I’m looking at hand surgery this Wednesday 😳🤬 not looking forward to it at all I’m so tired of being in pain!! But after I heal I’m going to get my craft room organized lol and plan of crafting and learning to sew!!

Your sewing is so straight, usually when I sew in signatures, they end up crooked. Can't wait till you decorate this journal. Thankyou for the tutorial Pam, love to sunbun xx

Perfect timing, Pam! I'm about to glue a text block with a hidden spine into a folio I'm making and it's so helpful to see you do it first. I've really enjoyed these two videos. Actually, I enjoy all of them! Really learned a lot from you, and you've helped ease me through some anxiety over "doing it right." Now i just do it and I don't overthink it. Mostly. When I do my pamphlet stitch I put my thread through the middle one after I do the first one. Then the third.

Love this new journal! When you are making the book page pockets for each signature, could you use the silver gilding wax on the edges instead of inking them to tie the journal together? Just thought it might look cool. -Roberta🖤

I feel my first journal is too big. Is it possible to remove some signature pages so it's too bulky? OR Would you just leave it alone.

I think you meant "Don't split the stitch." I have been told by others that is you go through the stitch like you did, it is called splitting the stitch.

Hi, Pam! ? I saw an old vid where you had folded a piece of paper that could be opened with a pull on the bottom of the outside layer of paper. Do you remember this from 3 years ago? Since, like me, you have trouble with where you put things I thought you might remember?

Question: how does a journaler put a whole picture into a signature without losing the whole picture? When you fold your papers you lose half the picture. When buying digital kits it don’t always make sense when looking at the journal and seeing a broken picture,only to turn several pages and walla you see the second half of the picture. Lol it has always bothered me, but I can’t figure how to fix that.

Question: Does the wax on the thread ever melt into the pages??? Love your crafting philosophy! Makes me smile, thank you.
