I finally learnt how to do it thanks to you! I would like to ask you a big favour. Do you happen to know how to enable the "design ideas" in PPT 2019? I used to have it until the last update. I would like to get it back but none of the tutorials were able to help me out with it. Any advice?

So I'm using methods 2 and 3 to display the PDF cover page in a slide. I've selected the the action to open the file on click. When I preview the slide and click the PDF, it doesn't open and then creates a micro small thumbnail which won't respond to a click at all. Thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

Maybe you forgot to click the "link" after browsing the file before clicking "ok". Happens to me the 1st time.

I need to embed 3 pdf files to a clients show but they are on my desktop so don't show up when I send to another computer...So do you have to have the documents linked to an online site instead of it being on someone else's had drive?

The second & third methods are almost perfect, I Say almost because they worked on my pc but when trying to open the file on other pc, it didn't open.

You need to have your pdf file saved to the other pc your using to be able to work..

it does not work in my ppt 2019

so u convert the pdf to ppt but u dont show how to insert into pp u just say once its downloaded. i dont think on the free version u cando it

Hey! Of course, you can :) There are multiple free online services that let you convert PDF docs to PPTX. prntscr.com/qm7occ - at this exact moment in the video I click the download button, and right after that, you see the slide of the converted presentation that I downloaded. I just didn't show how I opened it. You can try out the service I used in the video, or find another one, but there are services that allow you to convert PDF documents to PPT absolutely for free:)
