How to Insert Background Image in Word | On All Pages, On One Page or Different Image On Each Page
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video I demonstrate how to insert a background image in a Microsoft Word document. This image can appear on part of the page or full-page.
This video covers two methods for achieving a background image in your Microsoft Word document. Method one uses the watermark feature and method two uses the document header.
Background images can be made to appear on all pages or specific pages. For example you may only want your background image to appear on the first page of your document. This video also shows you how to insert different background images on different pages.

Thank you very much, Chester! I literally spent around 4 hours trying to deal with the background image as most of the information on the web seems to be outdated/suitable for other versions of Word. You explained it just perfectly and the second method is the most manageable in my opinion. I appreciate the effort! Keep it up!
Bless you! Unlocked the mystery around a background image in a Word template and got me going again. I kept fitzing around with the "picture/watermark" ribbon. I would have never thought to look in the header.
Very good tutorial! You covered a lot. Simple and easy!

Thank you so much, i was struggling from 2 hours😤
bro you are the best and a goat i never saw so a good video
Thank you for the amazing tutorial. I have one question. Is there any way that I can use the page format that I can see whilst im editing the background image. I want it to be black with a white logo in the middle which is how it appears when im editing the picture but as soon as I close the headers and footers section it turns into a grey colour that I am not looking for. I would like to use the template that is active once im editing the page format not the one that is created when I close the headers and footers.
This was great, except for one issue. I have an extra blank page at the end of my document that I cannot delete due to the Section Break (Next Page) at the bottom of the previous (actual last page). If I delete that mark up, it deletes the backgound image on the true last page.
what format does the picture need to be? jpeg, png, pdf?
it works but the text that i wrote form a box. It is automatic. How to make the text blend in with the watermark ?
Thank you🙏, how to erase it if I change my mind
any idea how to remove thw washout, yea its has a box with a option but its still washed, and can't kind it anywhere
I used Design tab > Page Background > click Page Color > click Fill Effects to color the background, which filled the entire page as wanted. When I print the page, it tiles the background instead of printing what I see on the screen, one single background. Any idea how to print the page and not tile the background fill effect?
I’m unable to do the unlinking parts.
is there a way to do this but to NOT have the image be washed out/greyed out. full colored
Why image get lighter how to set it I don't want light color image as bg
Why does my pic look lighter even though i did the header method
great tutorial, it's too bad Microsoft Word is absolutely horrible.
