I broke my arm, (humorous snapped off my shoulder) it was a clear severe break I acquired snowboarding. I was admitted into the ER at the DMC in metro Detroit and they put me in a sling wrote me a script on a Saturday night making it so I couldn’t get pain medication for the first night and the first half of the second day. I wasn’t admitted into the orthopedics until the next day. During this time I was in the worst pain I’ve ever been in and the swelling was out of control. Once the orthopedics saw my xray they said I needed surgery asap In order to prevent a fatal bone infection and permanent nerve damage. They said I should have had surgery the first day and it was a mistake that I didn’t. The X-rays show that it was a clear complete separation of the shaft of my humorous and the ball of my shoulder I can’t forgive that sort of thing especially when we’re talking about bone infection and permanent nerve damage. Should I sue or let it be, that would be easier

I have been given numerous citations myself as I am out trying to catch evidence of these rights violations! I am already pretty good at the research part, and finding and reading municipal code, and casefiles! House was flooded by management been living without a lease for months. Had to stop working because of the flood before the pandemic had to use my insurance money to survive instead of replacing my items lost. Contingency is still also difficult because it is hard to go base only on one word against the other without a lie digester. I was wrongfully fired from ShopRite about seven months ago and I was given a number from their orientation: after I called and explain Ed to him that the manager who hired me knew that I was homeless and she said that I could never transfer to a different location and she gave the white females fulltime work and me part time work. Hi this company called Massey came to my house and was suppose to do pest control. My cousin was involved in a hit and run while riding his bicycle in Florida recently, the lady that hit him was drunk driving and had people following her that were on the phone with police and recording her erratic driving and caught the moment he was hit and almost killed him on video. He got a severe concussion a bunch of broken bones and pretty much ripped to shreds on ever inch of his body luckily he survived he’s a pretty big guy if he wasn’t he definitely wouldn’t be she apparently hit him going 60 mph the police found her as well. He’s only getting $10,000 but he’ll have problems with the injuries he sustained from this the rest of his life not to mention he’s out of work until he recovers his lawyer is telling him there are no grounds for a lawsuit and I just can’t understand how that is with all the circumstances he was not at fault in anyway, if you could please let me know what you think? So here is my issue. Live with my folks. My mom is having the ~30 year old house remodeled for the 4th time in ~14 years. The guys who had installed the floors ~14 years ago didn't properly install them in a way to prevent humidity from reaching the plywood subfloor. As a result, last week im walking upstairs where the flooring was freshly removed, helping move furniture (where a lot of floor has rotted through) and i back up to get out of the way into a side room and just fall through causing a complex fracture in my humeral head. While i live rent-free with my parents, this injury has prevented me from attending a part-time job that i enjoy, and my expertise is very important to the people i work with due to it relating to modern computing and the majority of the people there are 70-90 years old. The issue is i have no idea who those workers were or who they worked for and if my mom knows she's withholding the info. Would i have a case, and if so, how should i go about getting that information? Im not wanting to sue for revenge. I want to sue because corner cutting isn't right, and someone much older could have fallen through and hurt themselves worse. In the imortal words of Heath Ledgers joker, "It's not about the money. I need some advice . I went to a dentist that a lot of people go to get their work done from his home. He claims to have been a dentist for 15 years and gone to school for it. I recently got work done for him and paid him 2,000 . The thing is , he didn’t fix anything and actually made one of my molars worse by hitting the nerve . I haven’t told him anything yet . I need some advice on what to do please . Because now I have to pay anywhere from 5,000-8000 to fix my teeth at an actual dentist office and I need my money back :(

Now I got my determination which is 163k. So my lawyers fee is a 3rd of that.(60k) But was also told I have to pay taxes on it. So my question is why do I owe the IRS anything? Inside the sealed packet there was a dead moth embedded inside the chocolate when i bit in to it, It was disgusting 🤮 . It depends where there are suing you. If they have personally served you and sued in your home state it may be similar to a regular lawsuit.

Can I sue my ex for the destruction of my life and emotional/mental damages? He convinced me to go through an abortion, ended up beating and strangling me, lying to the police that he didn’t hit me, and instead said I was the one who hurt him. I was sent to jail and later a psychiatric ward for trying to commit suicide. And was also homeless due to my family disowning me due to the pregnancy/abortion

Is the EMTALA law similar to a local court's failure to provide a medical evidentiary hearing in violation of due process? Akin to a court enforcing pseudo-science bias based upon a psychological opinion rather than first considering legitimate scientific inquiry through a neurological assessment and/or a toxicology screening?

@@AndreaDawnBrewer sorry for the late reply. I am learning a lot from this court battle so here is what I know so far about emtala. Yes, it is federal. The hospitals protect the nurses, doctors and other staff from emtala. For instance you walk through the ER but the security guard stops you and won't let you enter. This will be tricky since you need proof you were there. Pull out your camera and make a short 1 min. Clip. "Hi, my name is ______, and I am at (hospital) on (date) and the security guard ( his/her name) won't let me check into the hospital." At this point I would even have an interview at a distance. "Why won't you let me in?" The hospital is responsible for the security guard and if you make a video make copies. This is the tricky part because the legal department might be very hard to get a hold of. This could go through the complaint department first but if you can't get in touch with the legal department through the complaint department you can get a hold of them through the secretary of the state. This rout might cost you $50. But you can always add that into the amount you are asking for. There should also be ways to have the fees waived if you make less than minimum wage. This rout goes through your states court house. I will be updating my videos on how to file everything as soon as I work out all the bumps. I am really close.

Yes you can. It depends on the specific circumstances, but sometimes you can sue them in your state (such as if the conduct occurred in your state). If you do have to sue them in their state, you would typically hire a lawyer and process server in their state to sue.

Potentially, but you’d have to check with a lawyer in your state. You can also try pursuing it by yourself in small claims court.

Hi i might be late but i recently last year traded my perfectly working suv for a car that had multiple problems and still to this day stuck with an unsafe driving car multiple tickets and violations and he sold it to me while it was in his friends name. recently i’ve met up with the actual owners and they want me to pay off all the tickets that i just can’t afford im almost don’t with them but i still have to drive the car and deal with fix it tickets that i collected for the car not being in my name until a couple months ago this is messed up he title hopped me and left me with around 8 thousand dollars in problems and tickets he’s been M.I.A and i can’t get a hold of him all i have are all the tickets and a written statement on the day saying we traded cars on that day and a picture of his I.D in california Help Please!

Is there an attorney that practices in Indiana, I have a slum lord that deceived my family into moving into a house that is full of black mold, the city inspector actually called cps they came and said we are trying to remedy it but now we have to move and this guy wants to sue me. We have pictures from cps and us from we moved in( maybe video also) but hundreds may want to hop on as a class action suit, this guy owns lots of properties and the city is aware of him. Contact me if you think you want to join or represent, this guy always devolves his company when getting sued but I was told by him this was a personal property and separate if true this might be a way of learning

I was attacked by an 18 year old. He still lives with his parents, can I sue his parents?

The corporation i have a claim with knows two things 1. they have nothing on me 2. I have something on them, this is the root cause of the intense laughter that has been consuming me. For me it's the priciple of the thing. I would rather walk into a court room, alone if need be and question anybody I want. This is something that I would not be allowed to do IF I got a lawyer. At this point I am seeing that there are very real strengths to representing yourself. These days the government has an obligation to have nomenclature that is easy to read and in plain english. Either way I am going to delve into the fine art of representing myself...wish me luck

Yes you can, but whether you can recover depends on timing and the specific laws in your jurisdiction.

With myself, when I was a teenager, my mom wanted to kill me with a gun, twice. I know I'm unable press charges but I can sue her, right? I've definitely lived with emotional distress for most of my life & ptsd is a result of it. I'm unable live life normal with all these memories coming up. I confronted her yesterday & she accused me of saying I wanted to kill her, in an audio, which is a lie, I have a witness to what I said to her. I want to take them for everything they have!

Mine hit me in the head but before threw blanket on me, nx thing she and father carried me in their room and left bleeding internally, inhad dream about tomato soup and they forcing me to eat it and nx min i woke up throwing up blood, having nose bleeds, she acted she carring , wouldnt say that is what happened, i cant forget it, we was supposed to watch movie... once i asked why you did that to me , i remember now and she say i never did that, i have mental problems and want me come home, i dont trust them, i feel like they would kill me an bury nobody would know

Hi, our firm is currently practicing in Colorado, California, Texas, Washington, and Oklahoma.

Can I sue Police department for false arrested and lied about soliciting prostitution cause I was in jail for 3 months for that case when I went to court the judge and the prosecutor was mad at them for my arrest cause I wasn't guilty before I got arrested I let them know I was an Uber driver that's why I'm in the area to pickup someone even I told them that they didn't care when the judge and the prosecutor check the tape 📼 only they can heard I be saying I'm an Uber driver but they officers said I never told them that and then those officers went to the area I get arrested that day on the own without permission to the lieutenant and the judge kicked at least 6 officers out the courtroom for that reaction

My son trap his hand on school door .the teacher slap the door. The teacher didn't open the door to my son a member of students open the door for my son. Then he show his hand to the teacher the teacher said to my son that it ok sit down. He was in too much pain. .he went to the medical room and the nurse apply ice .then during the day he keeps going to the medical room.thr nurse say we can't keep applying ice. All day he was in pain his hand was swollen. the nurse and the teacher didn't call me or my husband to take your son to hospital to have it check.but my son suffer all day with pain which careless they fail in that department.when me son come home .l phone the school .took my son to hospital to have it check .had X ray .his 2finger is broken.. I have complained to the school but the school is not listed .the teacher lie about everything. So l Dnt know what to do .who to complaint?

You just have to sue . The company’s do not take you seriously unless you have a lawyer behind you . Oh well it’s their fault :) should have been civil .

I'm going to try to sue the crunch gym. Those people said for a very small issue lying down for pain leg issues they said even if I don't sighn the paper that there are going to sighn it for me and I am going to be banned from that gym company all around the city They where bullying me. It was rediculus. The co manger was claiming he was the manager. But he exposed his position to me talking to the police. Then I talked to the real lady manager. Just sitting down looking at me and my harsh struggle. I talked to her with a hard please. After my useless of pleasing as she walked away with a attitude I told her I am going to sue you. I hope I can talk out of it. But I am a serious racial situation. I hope I am not in a contract hole.

That’s what I’m doing right now, I filed a school complaint this morning, Talking to The district and police tomorrow, And I have Lawyers on standby, You can do it I promise I’m only 17 the teacher that assaulted me is roughly 35-mid 40’s

less go i can make a lawsuit against my mother for accusing me of lying but she knows she asked first: "what do you want honey?" and then she accuses me of lying that was hungry even tho SHE ASKED ME. this is top crime.

Shit I'm in the middle of trying to sue my local hospital for killing my mom via negligence. She was on a bpap machine that had shut down her supply of oxygen. Ended up stroking her out. Can't find a single lawyer that wants to go against the hospital. Trying to talk to an actual lawyer and not a secretary is impossible. Im going to serve them with a intention to sue.

I’m very sorry to hear about your mom! My suggestion is to talk to the paralegals or secretaries without demanding to talk to an attorney in the first conversation. They may have a process for intake, and going along with their process might increase the likelihood of them speaking with you more in-depth a bit later. Also, research the statute of limitations for medical negligence in your state so you know how much time you have.

@@LydaGroup thank you for at least replying. I live in WV, last year on Christmas day. I was called in by the doctors to sign paperwork for dnr and all that. When I didn't have to or didn't need too ATM. The doctors acted like she was passing that day, but the nurses in the CCU told me she was slowly starting to improve. They forced me under duress to get the paper work signed should something happen. I told them just save her life if possible. Isn't that what doctors are for? They stroked her out either by giving her blood or bpap machine quit working. When she first woke up she was fine listening to commands. 2 days later they noticed blood loss was occuring asked if they could give her blood. The next day she lost all control of her limbs but her mind was still there. They doctor at the hospital told me she was brain dead, but if you asked her questions. Yes and no questions she could blink once or twice to give you an answer. They also allowed her blood to go septic because while she was in medical induced coma, they didn't prop her arms up or anything. Caused her little hands to get giant and swollen. We was only allowed to see her 1 hour every 5 days. They claimed she had covid but me and my brother didn't and we was her care takers. All these bullshit covid laws, the doctors can't be held liable for their actions even if it does result in death via negligence. They get away with murder. No one is held responsible. I wasn't told until after the fact about the bpap machine and lack of oxygen. So their are a couple theories. Either the lack of bpap machine working stroked her out which is more likely, or they gave her bad blood and goings septic caused her to stroke out. Here is the kicker though, they never once told us she was going septic. Not once. I didn't know that until I seen the death certificate.

After 10 days of not paying me it was considered a criminal offense against me.

Doing it without a lawyer.
