    ? for car audio - on the Rockville RV12.1C 600w 12 inch. and others like it. I know you use the RCE out ports on a pioneer Stereo to connect to the RCA inputs on the amp, But do you not use the RCE outs on the amp unit to connect the amp to the sub that are there to use?, Do we just use the regular type speaker wire you strip to run from the amp to the sub speaker?

    You'll use the RCA outputs from an in-dash receiver to send a low level signal from the receiver to an amplifier. The amplifier will amplify the low level signal and create a speaker level output. At the amplifier, you'll use common speaker wire to go from the amplifier outputs + and - to the speaker + and - connection. This is commonly multi-strand copper wire. 16 gauge wire or, a little thicker like 14 or 12 gauge running from the amplifier speaker outputs to the speaker will usually be good enough. You can see this on an amplifier here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mnx9pqSKlK66g6Q.html

    RCA outputs are designed to send a low level signal to an external amplifier. The external amplifier then connects to the speakers. RCA outputs are not designed to connect directly to speakers. Please watch this How To video from Pioneer about wiring receiver to speakers: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nYZmr7Frm9qspco.html You can find more videos on Pioneer's KZread Channel here: kzread.info

    Please be more specific with your question. Are the door speakers working? How are the 4 door speakers connected to the receiver? Through the receiver's speaker level outputs? Or are you running an external amplifier for door speakers? Does the subwoofer power on and off with the receiver? Are you certain? Can you see the power indicator? Did you connect the RCA outputs from the receiver to the subwoofer? Front RCA output or Rear RCA output? You can find a Pioneer How To video about wiring your Pioneer in-dash receiver here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nYZmr7Frm9qspco.html The Pioneer DEH-S4250BT is very similar in operation to Pioneer DEH-S4200BT. What are you finding in the Initial Settings? Are finding System Info, Software update, and System Reset. Turn the volume control a little further to find SP-P/O. If it's not in that list I recommend to press the receivers microprocessor reset button. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. You can find the microprocessor reset button for MVH-S420BT behind the detachable face as seen in this How To video from Pioneer: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oWqdw9mJYpqfgpc.html Please watch the Initial Setup video again, with the sound on. I don't know how to explain this process any more clearly than what is carefully shown and heard in the Pioneer How To video here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Zqyaj9Scaayrn84.html 1. Vehicle is on 2. Radio is off 3. press in on volume control 4. rotate volume to Initial. 5. Press in on volume to confirm initial. 6. Rotate the volume control to find SP-P/O 7. Press in on volume to confirm your selection. You can find more videos on Pioneer's KZread Channel here: www.youtube.com/@pioneerelectronics

    The in-dash receiver is installed incorrectly. If your clock and radio stations reset each time you start your vehicle your in-dash receiver may have an improper connection for the Yellow Wire. The Yellow Wire must have constant power from the vehicle. The Red Wire is for accessory. Do not connect the Red Wire and Yellow Wire together. Please take a look at this video for more information on wiring your Pioneer in-dash receiver: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nYZmr7Frm9qspco.html You can find a full playlist of videos from Pioneer about 2020 audio receivers here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pqNmx7qFgKXUeqw.html and you can find more videos on Pioneer's KZread Channel here: kzread.info

    What settings should I change to get the most bass out of my speakers... I don’t have a subwoofer but want it to feel like I got one

  • @deckerdotto6035

    @deckerdotto6035

    The only real way to get the feel of having a subwoofer in your vehicle is to add on a sub to your vehicle. There is no way around it. If you have 4 factory speakers in your vehicle, here are a few things I recommend to get better bass. However, Please note: Don't expect magic. If you don't have a subwoofer, there is only so much you can do to get the feel of having one. I recommend to set up the Pioneer receiver's initial setup as REAR/REAR. That means, the speaker level outputs will be full range or all of the frequencies, High, Mid, and low will be produced by all 4 of the vehicle speakers. Go to the EQ and select the Super Bass factory Preset or the Powerful Preset. You can see it here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oIKJ27Sgk5vQc5s.html Super Important: Under the crossover settings, please be sure to switch the HPF or High Pass Filter Off for all, both front and rear, speakers. You can see it here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mp14saWpZ5i7caw.html That's one way to set things up. Again, don't expect magic. A second approach to this would be to set up the vehicle's front speakers to play full range High, Mid, and Low, and to set up the rear speakers to play only low subwoofer frequencies. You can do this by in the receiver's Initial Setup with the Sub.W / Sub.W setting. You can see it here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Zqyaj9Scaayrn84.html This means the front speakers will play all frequencies, and the rear speakers will only play the low frequencies. Go to the EQ and select the Super Bass factory Preset or the Powerful Preset. You can see it here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oIKJ27Sgk5vQc5s.html That's another way to set things up. Again, don't expect magic. If you want it to sound and feel like you have a subwoofer in your vehicle, I recommend getting started with a subwoofer with a self-powered Pioneer subwoofer. This type of woofer has both an amplifier and a subwoofer in one box. There are many sizes and shapes to choose from. Some are small and can go under the front seat. They provide a little bass but you know it's there. Others are large and really boom. I recommend to try option 1 first. Drive around for a few days or a week and listen to the system. Then change to option 2. Drive around for a week or so and listen to the system. Change it back to option 1 if you want. It's up to you. It's your vehicle, make it sound the way it works best for you. When you're ready, spend some money on new speakers for your vehicle and you'll hear it come alive. Speakers are fairly inexpensive and give the best sound upgrade for the money.
