When it comes to pre-requisites, do you have to individually select each class and register? Or is there like an Associate degree in Sonography for example that has all the classes you would need to complete in order to register for sonography school?

I came from the military. I was a helicopter mechanic basically fixing wires and computers in the bird. Not sure if they will look at that positively

After having my kid I postponed my education. I fell in love with ultrasound tech along my journey and would like to apply to a sonography program at my local community college. I’m unsure of the whole school thingy. Am I suppose to take certain classes before getting accepted into the program or if my career interest is sonography would already be in the program. Sorry I’m really confused but really wanting to achieve my goals.

I would look into your nearby community college and see what there requirements are . Most colleges vary . I do know that pre reqs in anatomy and physics are required though.

I just graduated with my bachelors and I’m trying to get into sonography school. (My G.P.A is a 3.8) I first need to do all the pre-read before applying though.

Any schools you recommend for sonography. I live in San Diego Ca

UC San Diego Medical School has a sonography program that is CAAHEP accredited

@@dangggdestiny okay because there’s only 2 sonography schools in my current city and there 2 others that are an hour and a half away that I want to apply to as well to increase my chances so it’s nice to know that it’s kind of normal to do that and I’m not crazy 😂
