Thanks a lot, I am having Naxon XM Petrol and after watching this video , I observed and followed all your suggestions and found absolutely correct. We have just traveled 2200 Kms from Pune to Mandvi Kutch with family total 4 persons. and some luggage also. And got Average of 19 Kms on highway and 16 in city area. Just one week back I saw ur video, I was in a vacation trip . So thought that just try this method. I am From Kerala , have Nexon XMA for the last 3 years. In my trip My first 555 Km mileage avg is 12.7 After saw ur video 135.5 km , average is 17.6👍👍

Very useful information. I own Nexon xz plus petrol. Earlier I used to drive on eco mode and was able to get 11 to 13 kmpl. After watching your video I went on a trip to Nainital Almora and Ranikhet. I followed your style and was able to get an average of 17kmpl on hills and 21kmpl on highways. Thank you so much Sir for your guidance.

Very practical suggestion. This is not only for Nexon but it applies to any Petrol car. When we accelerate gently and keep RPM around 2000 with right gear shift in 1.2 L petrol engine, Reduced sudden braking and using engine braking helps better mileage in any petrol car.

Traffic is the biggest culprit. Almora i guess is not that densely crowded. In big and metro cities every now and then we have to apply breaks. Cars dont run freely. So milage will definitely be less. AC is another factor.

Worked for me...I got the first time on average around 18-20. Thanks..

Mam, I am confused between Nexon Smart plus variant and Altroz XZ + S model, because both have almost same price , but altroz offers plenty features, nexon offers 6 airbags from base model itself. I stay in kalyan city and largely i will be travelling through local train only for mumbai up down and on monthly twice or thrice i will be doing short journeys like max to max 50 kms through car with family and twice or thrice long journeys in a year. So please advice me mam, which car will be best for me.

i am seeing this video now and i am following this , its true i am getting 18-20 , one more suggestion if you are driving in 3-4th gear you will get nice average i have got around 25-26 avg as well .

Sir mere pass bhi Tata Nexon Zx+ hai or mei pahad mei rahta hoon meri car ka mileage 17.5 hai. Or dhaal mei car ko third gear ki bajaye nutral mei chalane se average badega ya nahi sir bataye.

I also owned a Nexon XZ , Petrol, I purchased the car in 2019 when I was working in Bangalore, I drive the car in Bangalore city till 2021 then I came to Madikeri (its a hill station), during my Bangalore stay my car was giving 11 to 12 average in the city drive, and I settled in Madikeri my own house my son are in Bangalore so I use to visit Bangalore often at least twice a month I also get 24.5 KMPL average lot of times if I keep my car speed is less than 80 KmPh , but in the high ways it is difficult to keep on driving between 60 to 80 kmph, any way I stretch the speed up to 110-120 now my car is displaying average of 19 kmpl on the meter since 6 months it constantly showing 19kmpl average, but if you drive in Bangalore city further it reduced to 14-16 kmpl. which mode should be used in mountain/hilly area where we drive at the speed of 40-50kmph

Yes it worked. I was getting around 8.5 to 9.5 Avg but I just tried method shared in this video and was able to get 12.4 Avg in City mode. But this does not suit my driving.

It gives good average while on highway....but as soon as i drive in city....the average is back to normal around 9-10...as i stay in mumbai.....so local traffic kills evrything

Suggestions to kafi practical diye he aapne...i too agree...but you know what...All rules of good driving..smooth driving...get defied in Bangalore. Agar aap smooth chalana bhi chaho..tb bhi piche wala aapko nhi chalaane dega..honk kar kar ke apko pareshaan krdega..and you will be forced to accelerate and rash drive...causing more fuel consumption again.. 😂😂

I got average from Tata Nexon 23.3 from Panipat to Jirkpur early in the morning. But In Panipat local the average remains 9 to 11 only.

is it with always AC on? in Cities, 80% of the days are hot and we have to run with AC on. what would be the mileage in such cases?

Hi NTT, after watching your video i decided to purchase a Nexon and now applying all the rules which you says for higher avarage in my Petrol Nexon given me 21.5 kmpl mileage on highway. I cant believe that... Previously i was having Waganor 2012 model which was give me around 18-19 kmpl. Thanks for your very informative videos, Keep inspiring us and share more videos in you channel. Sir, soon all cars will come with flexi petrol engines, in which technology the concentration of ethanol in petrol will be higher than the current rate in petrol in order to improve mileage. So will the present model Nexon 2020 be suitable for flexi petrol then?

4:00 - Thank you for providing such an informative video about the mileage of Nexon cars. Recently, my car provided a mileage of 26 kilometers per liter on the highway (without using the AC), but the next day in Pune, I only got a mileage of 11 kilometers per liter (with AC on). This difference left me worried, and I began to think that something was wrong with my Nexon car. However, I am now grateful for your instructions and will follow them to see the results for myself

I got my nexon xm petrol delivered 3rd june 2022 and in next 2 days I completed highway run of 850 kms 😁. Current odo is 950+ and car is almost due for 1st servicing within a week😄. I used 70% eco + 30% city mode and got 16.5 kmpl in MID as average of both to and fro journey of 850kms with AC on all time. Average speed 90-100km/hr, max speed 115-120 km/hr. Considering 2nd day drive of new car I think its decent milage and will imporve after service. Correct gear shift is very important for acceleration and reving on wrong gear will affect the mileage. Use city+sport mode on inclines. In plains and declines use eco mode with light foot. I will expore more and overall I am satisfied with nexons performance till date.

I got nexon premium on 12 july 2022 and have spent approximately 22500 rupees in fuel. 1800 km with 8.2kmpl. Very upset. And sport mode power doesn't even work.. Sad and disappointed but still trust tata Indian brand

Our Nexon XZ plus hs Petrol model is giving 19.5 Km/L even in Sport mode on highway.

Cng is not good for turbo engine..... Avg ki koi dikkat nahi hai follow our other videos also to clear ur problems related to nexon

One thing I wanted to know if I have to drive nexon in speed range of 50 to 70 kmph to get mileage in highway, do you really feel this is good car in this price range. Better we should take baleno and drive however we wanted we will any how get 18 to 20 mileage. I mean what is the advantage of that 120 ps power if we are driving light footed.

Nexon base petrol... Only 500+ km driven.... My experience Steering sound when turning, rear wheel sound when jerking, clutch so stiff, rear gear not working properly sometimes. I hope after 1st servicing these issues will solve

I have Nexon XZA+ (O) and drive in Navi Mumbai from Kharghar to Chembur daily. Currently I am observing many things in terms of mileage in different city traffic conditions. Your observations in terms of lower mileage while using more pushing action on acceleration is correct. But I found the more and more mileage is killed while the car is standing in traffic. This makes huge difference and mileage is in order of 6. So overall mileage comes around 10-12. But yes if the car is used with gentle acceleration the fuel economy can be much better. But sadly the traffic condition is not so good and it does give an option for application of gentle acceleration. It takes 1 hr atleast for 27 km so the mileage is stuck in order of 10-12. One more important thing which you touched is that Eco, City or Sport the mileage depends mostly on the rate of application of acceleration. But I found City mode more useful. It is also good to see that even in hill area you are able to get between 17-19.

Yes. This is correct. I also live in Mumbai (Chembur area). With the traffic, speed breakers in inner roads, construction work everywhere its a challenge to get even 10kmpl. If it were a different city or town there would be a considerable difference.

I took Nexon in chandigarh. Drove it like mad man flooring on every gear. It costed me 10000 rs in one week to run this car and I drive it like 20 -30 km almost every day.. I thought the car was disgusting. But it was me who didn't knew how to drive. Thanks for you tip. My sister drive the car in 6 the gear 60 kmph on highway and she got 19kmpl milage. It can give even more by your tip.
