Wonderful guide to moving from intermediate to advanced levels! I’d emphasize making use of real-world conversations whenever possible. Join online communities, chat with native speakers and other learners, or even record yourself speaking to identify areas to improve. Don't be afraid to take those small steps toward fluency. Keep at it, learners!

It depends on your lifestyle and which words and expressions you would realistically use when speaking in English! As for the '5,000 most common' words & expressions in English, it will simply wash over with time and experience immersing yourself in English passively AND practicing English proactively. 📈

Recently, I've achieved a b1 level, but so far, I can't speak fluently, so what's your advice for me to speak fluently? ❤ On the other hand, your video is extremely useful ❤😊

  • @ARCEnglish

The answer is quite simple, you need to (physically) practice speaking more often! The more you train your mouth to speak English, the more natural it will become over time. With this being said, the process usually takes time. So if you can’t speak fluently after a few months of practicing (consistently), that’s 100% normal. It took me years of consistent effort before speaking French felt natural for me!

Life experience / immersion in English culture, studying & grasping advanced mechanisms / literary devices in English & expanding your active vocabulary and being able to apply it when speaking! Keep in mind, there are several native English speakers who do not have a command for the English language at a C2 level.
