Thank you Maestro Ridenour.
Amazing video, thks.
What could you have done for a student wooden Buffet (made in Germany) clarinet that has a low E that is the only sharp note? I pulled out the bell, exposing some cork. Could I have used a longer bell so that I wouldn't have seen cork?. Then the B above the break would be flat. Was the original bore too wide? The clarinet took a lot of wind pressure to play. I quit playing this clarinet and ordered one of your Noblissima clarinets. I'm glad I bought it from you.
Something can be done about our low E, F, F sharp notes to get them tuned sharper? Don't mind If B, C, C sharp get sharper too.. I've seen some making a hole on the bell but not sure If that's good..
What's your recommendation for adjusting D, just below the staff, and corresponding A, just above the staff, both of which are sharp?
On bending keys. I just noticed I couldn't play a B4 without pressing the C5 key, because the keys weren't aligned. I just ever so slightly bent it and problem fixed. I was using a piece of scotch tape under the key to close the gap between C and B, but it wasn't precise enough. Bending did the trick, thanks!
You have to be careful with having someone else tune your instrument - your setup and particularly your reed strength will impact the stretch of the 12ths
