Shhh... you're not supposed to tell them ;)
These lessons have an infinite value. I recomend his One Chord Grooves Lesson if you want to take a bundle of examples in a lot of these concepts and others by a little amount of money.

@@JackGardiner I can say after years with the youtube era, Tom Quayle rick Graham, Martin Miller, Tim Miller, Andy Wood and you, made me learn a lot and still giving me. Thank you so much 🙏
This limitation exercise really forces a more melodic approach. Thanks for the inspiration!
after 7 seconds i`m arleady hooked. dude you`re awesome
Thank you for the great lesson, Jack! Excited to work on this in my practice sessions.
Hey Jack, great lesson as always! Suggestion for the next lesson : How to voice lead with chord progressions to sound less "generic". Like a simple I-V-vi-IV but with colorful chords and voice leading to make it more interesting and less pop tune feeling.

Maybe use the notes that you are meant to "normally" use, but jump an octave higher or lower. Eric Johnson is great example playing sometimes simply triads, but they are more spread, or he will skip playing some strings in a chord. So for example if you are going from C to Am, the C note can be played in both chords but in different octaves
Thank you for those great lessons you share. Take care.
Great lesson Jack thanks for sharing how limitations can actually build success
Such beautiful phrasing. This has really inspired me. Love the use of delay.
I remember reading a similar thing in The Advancing Guitarist. Great advice and playing!
Great lesson, I will definitely work on this technique.
Fantastic concept to improve creativity! Never really took that approach before but since I know all of my 7 positions of the major scale, I can see this becoming rather useful once I get the hang of it! Great lesson!!!
I'm just getting back into playing the guitarand Jack's music is a part of the repertory things that I listen to to get me going how impeccably affected his music is it's great.
Just listening to the intro over and over improves my brain and thus improves my brain to finger transfer and thus improves what it all sounds like and thus improves the expressions on the faces of the listeners. Damn, I love how you play brother Jack.
This is great. Been doing a lot of finger exercises and simple pentatonic and major scales but still suck and making melodies. I'll try to practice this. Thank you!
jack, great lesson as always! btw @0:58 mixing that Gm pentatonic lick was dope
Thanks Jack. I have saw similar limitation exercise but on intervals. i.e. play in 3rds and 5ths. It would be great to hear it from you.
Totally getting into the concept of using limitation exercises. I'm also refusing to use first, second and fifth pentatonic positions during practice since I fall back on them far to often.
Gorgeous playing!!!
Thanks so much jack for the inspiration, you have been pushing me and playing leaps and bounds through these lessons.

Man I didn't think the intro could get any sweeter and then 1:24. I felt that bend in my SOUL. I think I even made the same face just watching.
Such beautiful playing... Incredible
Wow ...So a great tuto, tone and WONDERFUL playing Jack .... THUMBS UP TO U ... GREETINGS FROM MAURITIUS :-) Cheers Ludokelly

Awesome Work! 🔥
Best Ever Tutorial .... but that's like just my opinion man ... Thanks!
thx for all you do for us :)
Great lesson, big up 👌
you are insanely good dude
I keep coming back to this lesson as it is just fantastic. I also picked up One Chord Grooves but have yet to really dive in. Tone question: what were you using for your tone here? Sounds great.
Awesome lesson
Really enjoyed listening solo
Really nice 🤘🎸🎸
Unbelievable playing
Thanks a ton man! u opened doors!
beautiful song!
dude, wow. u rock man, inspired and i dont really play gtar.
top tip. Thanks.
Very useful👌🏼
This is great
Hello. Love your playing and the Nioh track a lot. can you make a tutorial on fast licks or phrasing in fast notes. I sometimes really struggle while playing fast phrases. thankyou
Opening solo😍
Great stuff! Will try. Some questions: when playing on just one string do you think of the notenames you're playing? Or scale degrees (if so, do you switch from G major to C lydian with the chord change)? Or more the visual aspect, "connecting the dots"? Cheers!
I like the part when you make the guitar go bwwooo boop boop beeeeee
nice tone, nice hand.
great lesson! is the backing track and the amp software all coming out of your monitors?
Awesome Jack! Really love this! Is there any link to the backing track you're using here?
Tasty, melted my earssss
good taste bro,,
I would like to see a video of you where you change strings to your Strandberg ... I bought one recently ... and I have no idea how to do it
Thank you! Great advice! I will try it😁
Hey Jack I'm interested in your lessons bundle what are the stuffs I will learn and what kind of topics are covered
Can you put a video on how to shred over fretboard
Guitar is the vocalist ❤
What pickups did you install? I am considering buying that guitar and would love to hear your thoughts on it after having it for a while now.
*sees there’s a new Jack Gardiner video up* Me: Oh fuck it’s Friday already?
Can you show us how to play over chord changes. Thanks
Wonderful playing . Where can I find this backing track ?
Can you plz link the backing track plz 🙏 thanks for the lessons 🙏💓✌️😊 greetings from Goa india
Interesting, limiting to one string I have done, for some reason, I never thought of 2,, or even 2 that weren't adjacent, Of course., many other worlds like the Indian sitar have been playing like this for always., and if you had a slide, you would also be forced to think this way .. are there any videos of JG on slide guitar
For more limitation, try using just 3 notes or just 1 note.
Fram Gambale in his book of modes, he combines E super locrian, with A super locrian, like? He came to know that he could combine them. Thank you if you want to help me.
Is that a Gt-1000 tone? Sounds killer
Just curious, what is the setting of the delay? 😍
How important is knowing the actual intervals and not just the patterns when trying something like this?
How often do you reach for tuners that aren’t there? 😂 I think it would drive me mad.
Nice
Honestly, I’m just really shook that Jack is now where near as famous as he should be... 😒 How do people still not know who he is..??

Hello Jack , From here from Venezuela a greeting from Jazmín Quiroz, I would like to receive guitar lessons or lessons but the economic situation for any professional is rough since all salaries were set standard in Venezuela for any professional, here we all earn 5 dollars a month this is to Consequently, we have a communist tyrant government,
John Petrucci and Neil Zaza
didnt know thom yorke can play guitar like that
The jam was very John Mayer.
👍🙏🙂

@@JackGardiner Well Ola accomplished his goal then... ergonomic! Did you tweak or use another signal chain this time? The last two weeks your tone was just fine, but even better today (for my taste at least).
💋🤠🔥
Jasmine quiroz I just ask you a favor, give me your email address, to write to you I am a guitarist too, and I need help on a musical level, is that if you can talk about the modal harmony of the minor medical scale, and the other is that if to improvise on the guitar for telling you something, like using a super locrian mode in Am and combining it with another mixolidian b6 mode with another lydian augmented mode in F, to improvise.
