Yeah, I've found that watching Muay Thai and combat sports in general really helped me when I actually started training about 3 months ago. The thing is I didn't watch it casually I actually immersed myself in the sports beyond just watching fights and will continue to do so throughout my journey. Coach Firas Zahabi said it best, learning to fight is akin to learning a language and one thing I've learned from learning new languages is that when you immerse yourself in the language you improve way faster than if you didn't (watching movies in it, listening to music in it, podcasts, etc... as opposed to learning it without those) seems like it's the same for combat sports. Going to be starting BJJ soon as well so I'll see if that ideology applies to grappling as well. I've only recently found the channel seen about 2 videos it kind of reminds of 'Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu - Muay Thai' and her content so I'll sub and stick around for a while to see what you have to offer, seems great so far.

Been loving this channel for awhile, I plan on starting my training near by next month. And all I’ve been doing is studying different fights, and technique breakdowns from the greats. I’m not completely new to martial arts so I just try to soak in what I can. Hopefully one day I can make it to Thailand and train there.

@@eduardoruano2683he has a really good video with his kid here about kicks. Lemme see if I can find it. But basically for people with high mileage hips, just twist your support hip more.
