    The new era. Im talking about things I have done, and will be doing in the future in order to improve. And how others can hopefully take something away from it. Im not barking orders at people telling them, “this is the way you improve and i dont care if you think im wrong.” Everyone improves at their own pace and in their own way. Im glad you were able to find something valuable. Ill also say that its important to realize your hand certain muscles in your forearm that support it. So try to use your arms sitting position in your consideration. Could also be your posture, the way you sit if its too low or too high. Many different factors. I hope you become an aim demon.

I started off with high sensitivity and hovering but I was way too inconsistent so now I switched to full area tablet + dragging and I'm hitting consistently but I struggles with higher star level jumps (For example I would S a 4.1 star map and get a C on a 4.91 star map) so is this sensitivity good for me or should I reduce the area?

  • @lazypanda1425
    @lazypanda14259 ай бұрын

    i didn't even take into consideration for stamina. I usually just opened osu! and I didn't really like the normal jump map songs and the alt map songs were hit and miss for me. So, I spammed metal maps and they were coincidentally mostly death stream maps or burst maps. I'm alright at those specific maps and some other areas for a 5 digit. All in all, the most healthy way to improve I think is to just play the ones you enjoy listening to, or the pattern that feels nice.

    Before you can play I would say 6 star nomod maps its important to realize that every session you play should be dedicated to learning or improving something about your gameplay. You can go about it however you have the most fun really. I would focus on setting a goal of a map you want to pass and then once you pass that (lets say right now its a 4.5 star) then move up. When I was new and learning I had put all the maps I enjoyed into a collection and sorted by difficulty. Sometimes I would start at the hard and move to the easier, other times start easy and work my way up each session. Maybe try that, let me know how it goes!

I am ~29k rank and I have the stamina to deathstream 170-190 bpm and have been able to improve it continuously, but my flow aim improvement has been horrible, are there are any tips to follow for improving my flow aim (forcing myself to play more stream maps has made me feel that I’ve made some bad habits in my flow aim which is causing the difficulty) and how to approach it.

    Nice video! I was wondering one thing though; I think I had never heard you talk about hand tapping styles when it comes to doing different patterns and types of maps. For instance, would you have a completely different tapping style when doing, lets sayyy - a deathstream or maybe you would readjust your hand in a way that you can shake your wrist and then switch back to a regular tapping style?? Or is it all just personal preference. I've tried many things, but the most notable being my thumb placement. I've been trying for a while to find the most optimal thing for my own hand and would love to hear your thoughts on how you you found your own optimal tapping style and technique, and some tips for others on how to find it!

    If you are a 7 digit. The last thing that you should be thinking about is improving your singletapping speed. Just playing maps that are around your level of skill will naturally improve your gameplay over time. There is no need to focus on such things when you are only still learning the basics. Take time away from osu, and come back at it with a different mindset. Remember, there is no rush, you will improve simply by playing the game and having fun at your current level of skill.

    Not having any music and not showing specifically what you are mentioning with a gameplay footage, (for instance, mentioning full alt, you could have elaborated on that with a clip specific to that, with zooming on the key input overlay for better clarification) all that plus the video length makes this video really hard to watch. Although the information you've provided to beginner players is very well put together, if you were to ever make a video for intermediate players, I'd suggest you take these into consideration. I often wish i didnt get into this game nowadays because i cant seperate enjoying the game and my mood based on my quality of play.....i cant be fucking awful and enjoy it....and im literally completely incapable of aiming properly and its so frustrating. Aim alone by itself gates this entire game for me and im pretty must past the point of ever believing its possible for me to ever figure out and progress that skillset for what would be the first time since at least before i changed setups in 2020....or at least have any consistency to fix my over 5k A ranks i genuinely cringe at whenever i see

    im not a fan of your ez takes tbh - playing 3 star maps +ez is not going to help you significantly in reading anything other than 3 star +ez because the patterns in 3 star maps are so different to 5*+ - ezdt is strictly harder than ez. the density of the map does not change. - jumps are by far the easiest part of ez, im not sure how much ez you have actually played but any accel/decel flow aim and tech is infinitely harder than jumps (with the exception of heavy overlaps)
