I am sharing this video with my Trig students this week and they'll be downloading daylight hours data from the Astronomical Applications Department of the U.S. Naval Observatory and then coming up with a model to explain the data. I was able to get a result I was happy with using this video, unsure why the query function does not react the same trying to limit with rows but I used data validation drop down to create a retroactive selectable for my sheet, not perfect but works

How do I know that data on the website is protected? It can be selected, copy and pasted but there's some sort of filter on it that prevents web scraping. If I use "list" it imports lists mentioned but if I type coloumn, nothing.

For example: a private site that shows me the weather temperature and this temperature is upgraded each minute? So I need to enter this site using my private password and to see this data live. Then I use my Google Sheets to do some convertions on these data.

Hello, Professor Teacher's Tech - thank you for this explanation, but the reason I came to find you is this: In the brand new Google AI interface (the one where you search by clicking on the lab beaker) today it asked me if I wanted to aff a new feature called "Add to Sheets". When I clicked on it I just got the URL. The AI interface didn't have any of your instructions in it. you set it once per the file - File - Settings and it applies to all sheets... if that's what you're asking.
