I have a second hand military issued M65 jacket from 1978. That jacket is really for winter and rainy days. I wore it for 3 years now and it's still good as new

I just got an Italian M75 it’s so old the copper is oxidizing on some snap caps and the buttons smell like a handful of old warm pennies but otherwise is good as new just get buttons that don’t stink and there ya go

I haven't much in the way of U.S. military, but when you got to the M65 pattern, I paused the video to grab my jacket purchased about a year ago. I'll be darned if it isn't an M65! I bought it, hung it on the wall and forgot about it. I had not taken a close look at it. Buttons for liner, hidden hood with drawstring under collar zipper, Velcro! Great collection showing evolution of these U.S.military field jackets. Mine has rank badges on sleeves (three stripes-Senior Airman), and" US AIR FORCE " above left chest pocket.

Will military issue jackets always list the manufacturer name on the tag? Just bought one and everything seems legit, it just doesn't give the manufacturer name anywhere.

Most of them will. There may be some manufacturers that mark their jackets somewhere else on the jacket.

Usually the repro jackets have manufacturer tags that are from companies that didn't make the originals. Also, sometimes the stitching, thread, etc is not the same.

I am having trouble distinguishing between the Korean war and Vietnam war uniforms. Any information on the subject would be much appreciated.
