Take if from a spearo who hunts in very overfished waters where fish spook easily, take the snorkel out of your mouth right before you dive. The purging air from water filling in from the top makes quite a bit of noise otherwise. Also, avoid diving directly down on your target fish, even on a reef or rocks. This gets more difficult the deeper the fish is obviously, but always try to approach further out from an angle.

I've noticed when hunting in reefy areas, if the fish I'm targeting is showing some interest but doesn't come close I try to hide a little bit from it and it usually prompts it to come closer for a better look.

Once you are swimming along the bottom in hunt mode do you turn off the safety and then turn it on again before swimming up for air?

Ideally you won't need to turn your safety off,a s you will have shot the perfect fish, but if not then yes turn it back before swimming to the surface. It's also important to remeber to ensure if you haven't been able to shoot a fish that you unload your speargun before handing it back into the boat, and also even if the safety is on, to never point in the direction of a person under any circumstances.

Pop a beer, drop the dynamite over the side and gun the motor? Lets see what the vid says. WOW. I was way off......... I've always wanted to prank someone like this. Accidently drop some (fake) dynamite in the boat yelling OH SHIT and pretend to start jumping out of the boat stopping at the last second as they jump. As they hit the water toss a floating shark fin on the other side of them and yell OH SHIT SHARK!!! While dropping in the boat out of sight. Place bets on which way they would go...

Not really, but if you have facial hari, then you can always use silscone grease or vasoline along the edges of your facila hair to improve the seal.
