    From a 2 hcp player, I realized by your steps in this video that this is exactly everything me and friends used to do at the driving range when having just some fun and laughs by trying to push it as hard as we could. So... you're basically telling me that's how you actually play the driver in tournaments? It's mindblowing you're telling me to just "fix" my max power swing... I never thought about it. Curse the academy.... You're a legend Bryson.

    I think it is important for you guys since you are so early to sit down and figure out a roadmap to separte yall from every other youtube golfer out there, like the good good group ect, the perfect thing is that yall have a dope niche, big dude hitting massive drives, gym shit that helps your golf game, and teaching a brand new way to golf in general. Im very excited for yall and will be watching along the way

    As a 60-year-old novice I’m really, really slow and not sure whether these elite golfers should be my role models. But I’m very strong, fit and a lifelong gym rat so I’m hopeful that I can eventually find some speed in my golf swing. Thanks so much!

    Trackman data shows that you can hit a drive with 115 mph, attack angle +5, 172 ball speed, 10.7 Launch angle, 1681 spin rate and carry it 285 total distance 342. Obviously conditions have to be right but its not fair to say he is not telling the truth about the 350 yard drive. Its possible. I have hit 300 total yards with only 103 mph club head speed here or there.

    When you are doing the rotation/anti rotation kettle bells swings I always suggest letting the explosion of “jumping” in this case to your left pull you down the line so you don’t rip your knee up. Have a mat or open space in front of you and release the kb about shoulder height. You can also use a medicine ball against a wall for this

    Loving the videos. Bryson, at 13:03 careful where your weight goes on those squats. On both squats weight is FAR forward, toes even. That will absolutely wreck your knees. Shift it back onto your heels, lighten the weight a bit, and go below parallel. You'll get the weight back in no time. Martin looks like he's got a pretty solid and deep enough squat, mimic his. Sincerely, 14 year CrossFit affiliate owner.

  • @mothaa45

    Weight should be balanced over the middle of the foot, not the heels. The misinformed advice to shift back onto heals put me in imbalanced injury-prone positions and significantly stunted my progress as a beginner.

  • @barwick11

    @barwick11

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@mothaa45 When you're moving external weight, you have weight on your scapula, which is transferring into the spine, which transfers into the hips, which transfers into the Femur, through the knee, to the Tibia, and should go directly to the ground through the center of the heels. Bones on top of bones where possible. When your weight is on your heels, your knee basically "rolls" across the interior surface of the patella. When your weight is on your toes, it kinda "slides" across the interior surface of the patella. It's extremely easy for weight to shift to the toes in the bottom of a squat, so unless you're perfect (and nobody is), stick that weight on the heels and if it comes forward a tiny bit to mid-foot for a split second, you're still fine. By all means if there's a better way, I'm all ears. The entire CrossFit organization would change if the world's doing squats wrong and you can prove it to them, but so far it's been pretty solid.
