I bought a Seydel Low D recently and trying to bend on that makes it so much easier on a regular key harp.

Ive been able to bend for some time but bending fast in tune....not really. This lesson was very useful. Of course the challenge is that each key of harp bends differently. And of course the lesson focusses on the 4d' which is not too hard. Getting that 3d' is a whole different thing. Good lesson.

Is it normal to be able to bend easier on a lower pitched harmonica than on a higher one? I can bend on my Bb, A, and g, but can't bend on my C, E, or F. The exception is my D. For some reason it's the only higher one That bends for me.

There’s no set pattern because we’re all different. Generally the lower and higher ones are more difficult than a midrange harp, but there’s nothing wrong if you find it’s different for you. Sadly it’s just a case of practice, practice, practice!
