Instagram's latest update allows you to hide message requests and comments. You can filter out offensive comments and you can set a word list for filter out messages and comments based on the list.
To access it, make sure to update your Instagram app. Then head over to settings and click on privacy. You'll see a new section called hidden words. With hidden words, you can filter out offensive or unwanted comments automatically or type out your own word list and set message requests and comments to hidden based on your list.
If you access your messages, you'll see a new section under message requests called hidden requests, just in case you want to review them.
And it's that simple to hide message requests and comments on Instagram.
