I'm new to archicad. I'm a Revit user. I noticed that you don't need to switch to site model view. You could edit the Building plan model view by setting the door and window parameters to show opening only. And you have them hidden. Go to document, model view, model view options, then look for doors and the windows . Change from 'Show entire door' to 'Show opening only' or 'Hide in floor plan' from the drop down option, depending on how you want it to display.

Ok that can work, although you have to rember to change back the settings when progressing, I usually switch between the two so I dont get confused. But thats nice to share thanx

thanks very effective for native user archicad but for new archicad user it is quite confusing need adaptaptation

Doors and windows still can't display on the plan. Using archicad 19 and model view is in building plans

How to show hidden doors and windows in layout / Pdf in Archicad 24? I think I accidentally hid them, and now they aren't showing in layout but I can see them in floor plan.

Right click on the drawing on the layout, go to modify view settings and check on Model View Options.... Make sure It is set to building plans

I tried it, my windows and doors are still not displaying
