How to Hem a Fur Coat by Hand. Fur Technique Tutorial
In this video I show you how to finish the edge of fur coat or other fur garments at home.
This sewing technique will help you to hem a fur coat by hand. To hem the furs you need have a needle with thread and narrow strip from lining fabric.

Coarse dense fabric - coarse calico.
I need to shorten a fur coat by at least three inches. Will it be safe to cut and use this method please?

The lining is not sewn to the bottom of the fur product. Its edge hangs freely and it should be a few centimeters above the hem.
This is wonderful but could you please remove the annoying music and do a voice over explaining what you do and naming the materials? That would be a great improvement.
