This has got to be one of your best, Father. I have realized so many graces over the years by thanking God for all His blessings in my life. BTW, does anyone else get choked up when receiving a blessing from a priest (even over video)?? Such a great gift from God to have holy priests like Fr. Mark who can bless us in His name!

I do! There is something about his outstretched hand that gets me... I just nearly fall to the floor. A blessing is powerful, especially when coming from someone deeply close to our Lord.

It's a mix of an existing prayer and my own words, as should any personal prayer be! The other prayer I recite, every morning, is as follows: Lord, enlighten what's dark in me, Strengthen what's week in me, Mend what's broken in me, Bind what's bruised in me, Heal what's sick in me, and lastly, Revive whatever Peace & Love has died in me. Amen!

I was actually thinking last night in prayer, “enter His gates with Thanksgiving and Praise” (psalm). I knew the Holy Spirit was reminding me to be Thankful in the midst of life’s hardships ❤️. Thank you Fr Mark. I have been racked with headache nausea and fast heartbeat due to my covid illness but i thank God still for this chance to be still alive and the chance to be closer to Him. I tossed and turned on my floor last night from sickness and while praying for His healing grace, i finally fell asleep and woke up feeling fine. Thank you God. And though I lose my health or life, I will trust in Him

I have been praying for this for the last two days. In fact, I just prayed for this only a few minute ago. Humility is such a powerful virtue🙏🏻😍 Thank you, Lord, for Fr. Goring. @@darrencaruana1350 Where did the Bible come from? It's a document of the Catholic Church! Because of the dispute about resurrection, the Jews could never decide on the books of the OT. The Catholic Church was the only authorized entity to tell us which books were sacred and did so. Trusting the textbook more than the professor who wrote is beyond idiocy. It's downright reprobate. Dont get me wrong i strongly belive in the bible but im between catholicsm and christianity at the moment.im confused.there is so much of the catholic church that i do not belive like the fact that they say that maria went to heaven in soul and flesh.meaning jesus had to die like all of us but maria skipped death ... i belive that if such a thing happend it would have been well documented in the bible. @@darrencaruana1350 Keep looking and praying. I was much more confused years ago. God helped me. Right now, I would ask you to ask yourself,"How does God establish His authority on earth? How did he do it among the Jews? Does his mode of operation change much from that time in history (Matthew 23:1-3)? Can God speak through sinners (John 11:49-51)?" The Catholic Church did not "invent" the rapture of Mary that Elijah the prophet also experienced. Do the research. The story of how Mary died has been around from the first century. The Eastern Orthodox also believe it. The NT is a small book. It can't hold ALL of Christian history.

We always focus on what we need. It’s good to have a heart filled with gratitude! And giving thanks to God for His many blessings, especially for the many many blessings we are unaware of, is but a small act of love for our Dear Lord 🙏

Father Goring always posts during my night prayers and it’s such a lovely and edifying way to end my day. (Thank you so very much, Father, for the blessing.)

Thank you father, so nice to receive your blessing, uhere has been no Church for months. God bless and keep you safe , strong and well.

From my own experience, God speaks any time of the day and ANYWHERE. Sometimes, I have to stay still and stop what I am doing as He speaks to me. I was in church when I first heard God’s voice. I was praying with my head bowed down. I asked God what does he want me to do. I literally heard God’s voice on top of my head and said, “Serve my people!” I thought someone was speaking to another person but only to realize when I looked up there was NO ONE beside me, left or right, or in front of me or behind me. The next person, talking with someone else, was 10 pews away from me. Whenever God speaks, He will speak in a very simple, few words enough to give you peace and understanding AND instruction. I even encountered The Virgin Mary when I was doing my second Camino trip in Spain. There was a large statue of the Virgin Mary in the middle of the FARM LAND and it is nestled under a large tree that reminded me of an old oak tree. I was all alone and sitting at the bench made out of cement. I decided to pray using my rosary first. Then I prayed some more but in a different way. I prayed as if I was talking to her. The words that I prayed lead me to tears. The next thing I heard, The Virgin Mary asked me, “What is it that you need?” I said a house because I don’t want to live in a small condo anymore. Six months later, we moved into a home out in the country. Thanks to The Virgin Mary’s intercession before God. Yet, that day in Spain, before leaving The Virgin Mary. She asked me to come back in the same spot. It will almost be 2 years, November 2018, since I last visited Spain and other places in Europe. I haven’t been able to travel back to Spain last year because I had been busy working and improving the house. Now, the corona virus is preventing me from traveling. I am sure I can speak to The Virgin Mary anywhere or everywhere. But she asked me to return at the same spot. If it’s God’s will, I will go back. So, to be able to speak to God, talk to Him like you’re talking to a friend or anyone else. I promise you, God will respond in a small, still voice and short message. Just remember, God will speak on the front of your forehead or above your head or your right ear BUT never behind you!

Last Tuesday, my sweet older dog and I were attacked by three huge dogs- thrown against my car, I thought my pup would die, and maybe me. He ended up unhurt, and I was hurt, but not as badly as I could have been. I KNOW that the Lord was right there. That he sent angels- because we are alive. Thanking him continually for that. Very bad things have been happening to my family lately- but, I know that the Lord is with us- and it helps me stay strong.

Best time to hear Christ voice when we are sleeping & wakeup. During that time of silence trying to fall back asleep is when the Holy Spirit can drop into our hearts & help us fall back asleep. Thanking the Lord for many things throughout our day will help us grow closer to Christ & help us get back to sleep. Silence helps us hear the voice of God.

Thank you Fr Goring for sharing your recommendation on giving thanks for the blessings. I do have many blessings that I am thankful for. The most recent one is that I was able to prepare my uncle's income taxes without any problem. I did it all by myself. He passed away last year at age 96. I was very happy about doing it. I had some inner peace after I mailed his taxes to the IRS. I think God gave me some help and a blessing.
