    This rarely comes up but I didn't see it mentioned, a fun fact about Healer LB3's animation lock is you can rescue your cohealer out of it early once the party is raised. Definitely requires communication in most scenarios, but nothing feels worse than raising the party only for AoEs to spawn beneath you as you're locked into place, potentially killing you in the process

I just hit lvl 90 3 weeks ago and did 6 hours of P1S-P2S last night and got VERY frustrated at a few points. This explains the source of that frustration and outlines all the slight but very important differences. Thank you very much!

    There's one thing missing from this, specifically for progression and recovery sections. And it's so crucial and such a game changer that I would even recommend updating the video with this in the dead center of the screen at *both* spots, all caps, etc. It's an incredibly simple piece of advice, and it's two words. BRING. ETHERS. The amount of people who call themselves "prog healer safety gamers" who also don't bring ethers is astounding. It's an instant 2800 mana that can be used on so many things, and if you're healing in a progression environment, or you know dps won't be an issue (but mana will be), ethers are a *game-changer*. BRING. ETHERS. Yes, you are giving up your potion cooldown, so you miss out on 30s of burst dps by doing that. But if you're in recovery mode, dps should be the last thing from your mind anyway. What you need to do is keep people healthy, pull the luldrg off the ground for the umpteenth time, and slap the DRK with your big healy stick because he panic popped Living Dead instead of Shadow Wall and TBN. BRING. ETHERS.

    Since I already knew everything by finding it out (?) (like when I started playing, I noticed how you can slide cast or how mechanics repeat timed, etc etc etc), this video wasn't beneficial for me per se, but it was overall really good. Nicely done. Oh and a quick side note: AST does need to plan ahead their spell usage just as much (or perhaps even more so) than SCH and SGE whereas WHM requires a little less (mental) prep time (you mentioned how both SCH and SGE have to plan ahead in contrast to WHM and AST, so I wanted to comment on that). PS: AST is also the most fun healer IMO, and the reason I started playing for real and the reason I stuck to FFXIV in the beginning before the story and combat, FC, friends had gotten me attached.

  • @Anna.K..
    @Anna.K..10 ай бұрын

    I assure u that playing as healer on playstation is so much more fun and more manageable than on pc. 😊 Dear reader if ur dps randy please dont play healer. A healer never has to do dmg to the top. The most important things for them r to learn and know all mechanics of the current savage bosses, support their team with buffs if exist/heals/ shields/ mids manage their MP/ Mana, listen to static calls, look forward to not let main tank die if party members die ponder the ranks of the classes (mostly healer first, if tanks down then tank first and then healer, if redmage/summoner in party them first over other DDs cause they can help with rezzing if there r mechs where u would maybe die next, sometimes there is a mech where u have to rezz fast or the important player for the next mech he has to do so to survive the mech. Dont let them make a DD of urs. If party dps is ,low" (Boss goes enrage at the end of boss and all die) then the DD classes do wrong things in their rota or have wrong Materia or low gear or not foods. U have to do ur fillers but thats the lowest work of ur role. Better a living buffed party than a high guy ,dps' healer who let people die and say he wanna be the very best in healer dps ranking. And communicate with ur healer buddy. Dont rezz both the same dead guy ( mp loss). And please watch that u overheal as lower as possible. Learn ur class! train with it, use ur healkit wisely and logical.
