Riding 9 years never had an accident, last week a car hit me head on on my motorcycle, clipped my entire foot. I have a fracture in place on my fibula, praying heals correctly and I can return to riding and MMA. Godbless

Man o man...same here dude.. a car at 80mph hit my bike in center .. i have 11 broken bone and a fractured skull ... God grace I am alive... I am never touching bike ever again

Me and my cousins planned for a morning ride so that we can see the sun rise in one of the hill. But unfortunately a car came in a wrong lane and hit me, my bike flipped 2 times and completely damaged .I some how escaped from the car crushing towards me and fell on a road . It was all fine for a moment cause I wore helmet and only little bit of scratches in my legs but after few minutes my leg elbow started swelling and paining.I couldn't walk properly so I went for the checkup and boom doctor said u got a fracture in the elbow rest for 3 weeks and no walking . For a moment I thought everything will be fine it will recover soon but no it didn't heal .After 3 weeks i went to the doctor and he changed the plaster and said u need to rest for 3 more weeks, and here I'm trying to recover my elbow fracture by seeing these kinds of video's, because I don't want to waste my time on bed seeing the wall. It's my final year in college and I want to enjoy the last bit of happiness. Everyone were sharing their incident on the comment section so even I thought of sharing my experience of my elbow fracture with u guys!! I hope my fracture recovers soon 🙂

I just got home from the hospital, where I was initially rushed to the surgery room after I hit a deer on my motorcycle, totaling my bike and horribly breaking my leg and shoulder. Not a day later, I went in for surgery that took more than 8 hours. I got at least 25 screws put in my leg, the doctor even said he lost count. I have another surgery scheduled for next week, hoping it goes well. The technical diagnosis was, type III open fracture of distal end of right fibula and tibia. Closed dislocation of right shoulder girdle. Acidosis, lactic. Fracture of humeral head, right, closed. I have a long road off recovery ahead of me, and the surgeon said I will definitely have arthritis for the rest of my life in that ankle, and I may never regain full mobility... before the surgery he even mentioned amputation.. Now, it might sound crazy, but I'm most upset about my bike.. I really loved riding it more than anything, and now it's gone in a blink of an eye. That being said, I am so grateful to have walked away from this experience with my life, and it really puts things into perspective. I'm sure I will ride one day again, but now my focus is on being still, and healing. I hope you all cherish the blessings you have while they are still here, we never really know how long they will be ~

don't worry... just keep your thinking positive. Right now, think about yoir recovery. Doctor is saying according to everyone that how mostly happen with patient in such case.. but the thing is, Mentality also played very important role in such cases.. Your positive thinking will result in fast recovery... I also had one accident like that, not much horrible as yours but bone of my leg also broke into two pieces after a bike accident. But after surgery, i had attended my exams after 11 days and within two monthes, i was able to ride my bike also😊😊... I hope for your faster Recovery dude...

my mother had a broken bone in her foot, the second break happened while the first had just mended. she is 75 and just had vascular surgery on the same leg. after the second break her foot had a drop foot, no one told us to rest it until a month ago, now she is having bed rest, the swelling has gone and her foot has been pulling and stretching on it own. mum now has some control over her foot and her heel after four weeks is nearly touching the floor. yesterday she got given a splint, it was agony for her and since last night her foot and leg went numb, even after I removed it yesterday. Now her foot is again doing the stretching on its own and has the last four days begun to move up and forwards, why wear a splint when the foot heals itself. and yes I have been giving her plenty of calcium and vitamin D.

Healing is in my nature too

I'm 12 and my 15 yr old sister twisted her ankle on a huge gap of my porch stairs and she didn't cry much but she broke her foot and there's a huge bump on it from where her bone popped out of place. BTW this all happened last night on June 2nd,2017 and now she has this sorta wrapping around her foot. she doesn't like using crutches so I let her hold onto me and I walk her around. She can't walk to anywhere so she crawls herself and I have to help her pull down her pants to use the bathroom because she can't balance and I help her put on her pants too. we are best friend sisters and we argue a lot. today we went and celebrated fireworks and while everyone was having fun, I decided to sit with her and help her move around. she doesn't wanna go on the first day of school with crutches and a broken foot in crowded hallways. and people might step on her and she has trouble walking with the crutches any help on making it feel better without working out the muscles? she's not allowed to put pressure on it.

Broke pelvis in 2018. It broke at the back near the tail bone at the SI joint and also in front at the pubis ramus, both on the right. This and micro fracture to entire rib cage and breast bone. I got a fusion 3 months later at the tail bone area thanks to a 2nd opinion. 4 years and 9 months later an idiot never used his indicators and swerved in front of me on my bike. Since I was turning at a 4 way stop (and they have curbs), the bike fell on my left leg on the curb and I broke my tibia and fibula. I am 1 week in of wearing a cast. I will be using comfrey to speed up the bone repairs once the cast is off... Safe travels to my fellow bikers

if there is hairline fracture it can be recover without operating by screws and plates. don't scare the patients. i also had been to this situation. just take proper nutrition. and don't move the broken bone

My fracture in my distal fibula stopped healing and I’m going on the 4 month mark, my doctor told me to stay off the boot and use a knee scooter. I’m also taking vitamin D2, calcium, and magnesium and changing my diet.

I fractured My Tibia as well as Fibula. My left leg was fully plastered from mid thigh to foot After keeping it on 41 days, X ray revealed that there wasn't any change at all Now, the old plaster has been removed and a new one from My knee joint upto foot has been applied for another 8 weeks. Now I think that I can't rely upon Plaster because there maybe chances of deformity as well as Malunion. Like everybody else I wouldn't want to jeopardize My leg for the rest of My life

These days doctors will tell you anything or they'll say surgery is the only option to close out on a deal. My doctor told me that my foot will never look the same or be straight, he actually told me that it would be deformed & painful. It's been almost 2 months without the surgery I'm walking fine and my foot is just as straight as it was before I broke it....

I had my cast 6 weeks for a broken fibula after that additional 2 weeks of non bearing. I am doing exercises every day, holding it in salt water...

I highly doubt it will get healed in 12 days. Even after it is healed you will need to do leg exercises to make it stronger

@@peytonstevens3466 yeah i feel you. Just kinda sucks cause i cant work atm as a nurse or even gym while my left 1st metacarpal fracture (non-displaced) heals. Im just grateful and lucky that day for wearing my gear and to be alive from that accident. Unfortunately, my ninja 650 is gone :(

@@peytonstevens3466 A car cut right from the back of me. His car tapped my rear wheel and I lost the rear wheel, it spun out and my bike low-sided. My bike hit the guard rails on the side of the highway and i slide like 20 feet from it. From that incident, only fractured my left thumb. I consider myself super blessed. I wore my alpine suit and agv corsa r helmet. And haha yeah its definitely not gonna stop me from riding in the near future 🤙
