I was able to lock all using the other faceplate. For the original one, I didn't try.

Nice flying as always! I absolutely love 90fps. I have so much more control. I fly most days in my backyard. 90fps is amazing for proximity flying.

Hey Man .can you keep us posted about the improvement of those goggles. Cuz I know it is having a lot of bugs.. I even canceled my because of that.. the goggles it self looks soooo clean

Blue wire to UART tx? I thought that we only need to connect pwr GND tx Rx? At least, that's how I connected my race2 vtx. Just got my freestyle vtx in the mail today for a wing or maybe a 5". Hmmm

Just recently, SmartAudio ruined my VTX. Luckily I was able to recover the VTX. Don't use it. I didn't remove the wire, too lazy. I just disabled SmartAudio.

You made a mistake on 17:26 there should be: dji (720p ~30ms) vs HDZero (540p 3ms) 😅

Really want a 6S hanging off the side of your head? I was looking at a pair of used DJI V2 goggles but I don't want to be in that ecosystem. I much prefer open source and the innovation it brings, inevitably at a lower price. It seems like a great system, but like everything else it's a work-in-progress that will leave early adopters feeling shafted. Imagine spending 2K on a DJI system only to have it be upstaged by V2 a year later. I have a real love/hate thing with this hobby. I'm waiting for tech maturity as it's obviously not quite there yet. Even @ 60FPS, your brain and reflexes are not that fast. The hype around frame rate is simply stupid.

unfortunately I agree with you but I can also can appreciate that the technology maturity for this hobby will likely never peak due to the low margins from low sales volumes and the nature of free dev work. In regards to frame rate, I would really encourage you to briefly look into VR gaming headsets and how fierce those people are about frame rate / refresh rate. Its a similar concept and application to FPV goggle refresh rates.

I don't hang a heavy, giant 6S battery on my head lol I put it on my table. As for the FPS, you will never appreciate 90fps over 60fps if you just cruise. In very fast rotations, 90FPS is MUCH clearer and slower fps becomes choppy.

Dude, at 55 I'm getting to the point where I'm too old to see it anyway, but I get your point.😂 You'll outfly me any day, but I still like to watch and learn.....what I refer to is the human brains capacity to actually register that speed and apply stick input. Were just not that fast.
