Jimmy might most likely he the best golf channel on YT. I know he is my favorite. Today proved it. Terrible conditions today, but I had a 75% mentality, ball further back in my stance, took 3 easy practice swings, counted down... 3,2,1... waive to tge camera and let it go. The contact and hitting in the center gives you PLENTY of distance. So many straingt shots today. Jimmy is the man
Your method of instruction is very helpful. Eddie Merrins in his 2003 video said "we go to great lengths to complicate the golf swing". Then, he simplifies it. That pretty much says it for the major portion of golf instruction today. Your course management "thinking" is especially helpful. I think it was Sarazan when someone suggested he write a book on the golf swing. He responded, "a book? I can put it all on a 3"x5" recipe card !"

Exactly. Make it simple. Thanks for watching
When I really want to stay in the center, I picture your swing in my mind. Thank you.

I love watching your videos. This is exactly why I’m struggling. I get on the course and forget.

Hi Jim, I’m from RI, can’t wait for decent weather, to try your techniques. I know I will play better golf this year. Thank you, Ron Pagliaro

You got it Ron. Thanks
You're right, Jimmy. Consistency is key for a golf game to be successful, but being consistently good is the hardest part to repeat lol.
Love your videos. Played today and shaved 8 strokes off of my normal 110 round. Ready to put this one into practice

My golf swing is truly consistent and repeatable, just not long enough distance to score lower than mid 90s.

Hey Jimmy, another great video. I had a question about weight transfer. On your back swing, where is the weight on your feet, and on your downswing as the weight goes forward to your front foot (L) where is the weight placed on that feet? toes? heel? thanks.

My weight is normally on my front foot throughout the swing. Weight never goes to Back foot

but WHICH part of your front foot? toe? heel? all? in? outer? does it change as you swing up and down or stay constant? thanks.@@TropicanaEntertainment
Another excellent, helpful video. Thank for very much. You always stress the importance of keeping your head down. I think it was Arnold who said that he never looked up and saw a good shot. My question; why is it so damned difficult? From tee shots to putts, where I often pick my head up and decelerate. Seems like it should be easy “Keep your head still”.

Perhaps it’s a sign of a weak and failing brain?
Jimmy, great video on a repeatable swing but what do you think of single length irons to aid your repeatable swing. Great vids mate Paul
Thanks Jimmy, great video instructions! Can you also help me increase my distance in the same easy way that you swing your clubs. Good luck from the The Netherlands.

If you want more distance, hit the ball in the center of the face of the club. Slow yourself down until you can do that
Great video in Ohio it’s not golf weather yet
4:39 What happened to the ‘Front bump’ before the swing. Have you ‘erased’ it or just forget about it? It Was a staple of your swing sequence. 😊

Can you explain how to hit the ball first and then take a divot ? I have struggled with that my entire life. Also, your ball flight with your driver is very low. Is that how you always hit it ? I have followed all your videos and really enjoy them. Thanks !!

Thanks for watching. I will soon make a video about ball first then divot.
Any change in setup or technique when you have a short pitch from a very tight or bare lie?

What moves first in the back swing arms or hips? And what about down swing?

That’s how all the long time members at my club play, 1 put pars, it’s the only way an amateur can play…
I enjoy your videos and attitude. However, I do not understand why you seem to undercut so frequently when your swing seems very dependable. Why not hit the 9 vs the wedge for your first hole approach shot and avoid having to chip?

Thought you played all your shots off the back foot Jimmy..those looked off the lead foot 🤔

No chance. I play everything off my back foot. Always
Ps... Even though you love that blade putter. Do yourself a favour and get an Odessey two ball or a Ping anser mate. Make putting easy ✅

You’re thinking too much jimmy, just grip it and rip it 😅
Lots of players slice 8/10 drives, that is consistent?
I thought you switched putters because you were looking for the anser.
