    Your hair is growing so good! My hair loves protein, especially the aphoghee protein treatment every 10-12 weeks. I need to get on bond builders but I feel like olaplex made no difference to my hair when I used it, but maybe I was using it wrong. Great content as always

    Thank you! && tbh with some bond builders especially when your hair isn’t damaged you don’t see a major difference straight away, until you realise the length and strength of your hair is better and better xx

    Great to see you back and happy 2024! I'm wearing my hair straight more and more though still not 100% at this point. I've discovered yet more bond builders. Have you tried Epres pre-shampoo treatment or Living Proof leave-in? I have both, but haven't tried the Epres yet. Still love my k18 for between shampoo and deep conditioner. Also have the L'oreal dupe for the more expensive Redken you mentioned from the same company. Haven't used it yet either. Also have The Closer end treatment leave-in from Amika that I've been using between washes just on the ends. Finally have a sampler of 6 products from Save Me From which is using Fenugreek in a chemical composition that supposedly amplifies it's strengthening effects. My only problem is that I don't wash my hair often enough to try out all these products before I find the next I want to try LOL. Talk about first world problems. 🤣

    Loool girl that’s a whole lot of products you just listed there!🤣🤣 I’m taking notes! Epres isn’t available on the U.K. yet not 100% sure why but the others I would definitely try! At the moment I’m trying to keep consistency in my routine whilst I grow my hair before experimenting xxx

    I believe Epres was created by the guy who came up with the Olaplex formula. He split from the company and is doing his own thing, Epres.

    So glad you made this, I was wondering when you would come out with a new video. I have a question and need a little advice. So I started using heat on my hair again after about 2 years. I took your advice, I got the Joico K Pak shampoo, and for my conditioner and deep conditioner I use the Redken Acidic Bonding and the leave in. Anyways I’ve been having a problem with my ends. A couple years ago I could get my hair bone straight root-to-tip and it would stay straight until I washed it. For some reason now, my ends keep trying to curl back up Almost like a few parts were misted with water. Not my roots, just a few of the ends. What’s going on? Is it a sing I need a trim? Do I need to just give my hair time to get used to be straight again?

  • @naturalnadinee

    @naturalnadinee

    7 ай бұрын

    Hey girl! Thank you! && I would say it’s likely you need a trim the only slightly weird things is that they curl back up again, usually the hair at the ends gets frizzy and won’t stay straight due to split ends doesn’t curl back up, do you wrap your hair at night?xx

  • @darrenkcork9476

    @@naturalnadinee yes I always make sure to wrap my hair at night. I trimmed my ends about 4 weeks ago. Maybe I should take of a little more? The ends get straight when I iron them. Just for some reason a small section in the front starts to curl slightly. I might be adding too much leave in as well possibly.

    People with straight hair who straighten it every single day DO have damaged hair, it's just not as obvious because there's no loss of a curl to signal the damage. Ask any straight hair girl with LONG hair. They will tell you the thing that most restored the integrity of their hair that allowed it to grow out was to quit the heat styling.

  • @naturalnadinee

    @naturalnadinee

    Oh you right they definitely do! What I meant is the extent of the damage would be different I.E if I straightened every day my hair wouldn’t even get to be long likely break off before it got to that stage 😭🤣 xx

    Ohh okay, why? Do you struggle with it reverting back? Lifestyle? Do you wrap your hair at night?xx sorry for the million questions but trying to understand how you could cut down the amount of heat you’re using xxx

    @@naturalnadinee Hiiiiii, Yes I struggle with my hair reverting back, I sweat in my head first. Example before I work out and/or do yard work like rake leaves… I wrap my hair securely it with a head wrapped. Some of my hair will be straight on the sides, but the middle and back of my head will start to revert back roots first. I managed to keep it straight for a whole month now, but unfortunately with reduced heat like every other day.

    @@naturalnadinee Oh ok. Are you not alarmed that you have no natural curl pattern? Your hair is nice and long by the way. Afro hair straightened can grow rather long, if heat is used correctly. You should watch Cocaknotz she does some great hair advice videos.
