Hey man I really enjoyed your video in made sure to give it a thumbs up. Your video also touched on a topic that I have been wondering about for quite some time. I have been growing my hair out for quite some time and its almost at the length where i can donate it to childrens hospital for children with cancer. I have been searching endlessly for how to set up a charity live stream of me going under the scissors as it were haha. After watching a few videos I had the exact same thought, then I subscribed because of it! Good stuff.

One thing that wild never mentions that greatly helped me early on is making sure you never show 0 viewers. When I was getting started I would stream from my ps4 then I would pull up the stream on my phone and on my laptop I would pull up dashboard. That meant that I started streaming I had 2 viewers from the get go which depending on the game I was playing would move my channel up to the top channel or one of the top channels which would get me an easy boost in the number of people that would tune in. It takes more than that but this definitely will help trust me.

I'm currently at this stage,and when I do this I find that I usually bump up to average 5 to 8 viewers. So yea,agree 100% with what you said

Yo bro watched your/other KZreadr's tips and tricks, this is what I have done: I add fancy overlays, I put Alerts and goals, I engage so hard/if not I try my best to keep a topic going, I welcome/welcome back old/new viewers, this is what happened: Today is my 7th day of streaming on Twitch, I got my 2nd actual viewers who talk with me since I am not yet an affiliate, he couldn't donate as he wanted to, I am surprised how he just entered the stream and stayed for 1.5hrs, he was feeling good with me and didn't even want me to end the stream!!! thank you so much!!! I just need that 3 average viewers which I can get to quick, definitely quick!!!

I highly recommend driving traffic to your Twitch from sources other than Twitch. "If you build it they will come" does not work on Twitch, it really helps to be like @Wild4Games and have a KZread channel where you'd providing content of value ELSEWHERE and leveraging that audience to drive it to your Twitch. I create Pokemon Guides, and in my KZread content I say "Come join me on Twitch we have XYZ Giveaways" or whatever, and that's how we push bodies from one platform to the other. Grinding and Networking are good, and you're doing the right things BUT I would highly recommend building an audience outside of Twitch and then driving a good chunk of it to your streams so you're not stuck behind Twitch's poor discoverability. There are like 3 Million Twitch streamers, so the likelihood of Twitch making YOU stand out are slim without you doing a TON of work to bring the viewers to you.

I feel like you've seen Sean Connell's "Video Influencers" :D and I mean that in the best way possible. Seriously bro, this just boosted my confidence SO MUCH. I just started streaming about 3 weeks ago, I already feel, as an entrepreneur, that I'm plateauing, and that's NOT GOOD. Watching this video I learned some great tips (the one hour before networking thing, EPIC) and confirmed suspicions (not micing up with viewers). seriously, I swapped profiles on google/youtube just to re-sign in on my "pro-gamer wannabe twitch/youtube/gaming" account and ring the little bell. EPIC video, and I'm looking forward to binging. And yeah, I'm "GrumpyBadger117" everywhere now ;)

I'm thinking about streaming web design and web development. I'm doing it every day and it would be cool if I could by the way interest some people and have some interaction but I'm not sure if in this whole Twitch jungle, in IRL section anyone would be interested in watching this (I've seen someone doing this maybe 2 times). That is a tough one - They was once a lot of people teaching coding and web design on twitch. No its kinda far and few between and I dont know the reason why (no interest, people moved on to different things... who knows). I dont have a solid answer.... BUT you can always try and see what stick and or works.

I enjoy your videos. I enjoyed the tips and learned a lot from you. I'm starting my Twitch channel later this month and I gained 4 followers yesterday and i'm going for my first 100 followers. I'm at 62 right now! I have a Twitch bud of mine Phantommaxx who started streaming 7 months ago and he has 650+ followers and build a following of followers with raids and hosts so I learned how to be successful streamer from him. Dude these tips are awesome! You brought up awesome ideas I would have never thought of. Especially the collaboration with streamers by hosting each other bringing both communities together on the same day. I've been gaining momentum quite a bit and I don't want to stop. Wild4Games haha it would be awesome. As long as awsome people like you put out content that thinks outside of the box you really help small streamers have something to go off of. Not the typical be genuine, talk more, dont play saturated games bs. I'm sure this channel will go somewhere and your quality is perfect and to the point. Keep up the good work!

Great tips!! I started streaming a few months ago and im stuck at 11 followers. I dont get much traffic into my stream and usually if I get someone into my stream, they dont chat and leave pretty quickly. Frustrating :( Looking forward to trying some of your great tips!! Thank you!

Can you possibly check my latest video out and give me suggestions? I'm running off ps4 and OBS wont open on my computer so I'm kind of stuck on overlays...
