How can you grow your small online business fast?
Everybody asks me: Graham, how can I grow this thing faster?
Usually I try to break it to them slowly that, hey that’s not really how this thing works.
I get that there's pressure. I get that you want this to grow quickly, I can totally relate.
When I started my online business, I was on food stamps. I needed to make money as fast as possible.
There is no shortcut to making this happen in the way you're expecting it, BUT there are five counterintuitive ways to grow your online business faster.
These are the things that you must be doing to actually turbocharge your efforts and move across the board game a little faster than someone else. So brace yourself, because this might not go where you think it's going to go, but I promise you, this is what it takes to take your small online business and turbocharge it and grow it fast!
In this episode you’ll learn:
- The counterintuitive ways you can turbocharge your business growth
- Why most online business owners focus on the wrong things, when trying to achieve fast business growth
- How growing your business fast could potentially harm your business and how you can avoid it
Hope you enjoy!
- Graham

I listen to Joyce Meyer for my God-encouragement and kick to get on with it... and I listen to you for the (God assisted) business one - THANK YOU Graham! This last week I have just emailed all my email list and said that I am no longer doing what I've done for the last 18 years (lots of things but mostly beginner dog training) and am chasing the things I really love - Heelwork-to-Music, training and coaching other dog trainers and a whole load of fun and behaviour insight for pet dog people. It's scary BUT I have been overwhelmed by the support my email list and facebook group have given me saying that they applaud the decision and they're absolutely with me on this next adventure. God and I have an agreement that I'm doing my bit and He's somehow rescuing the bank account (!) and making it work. Please keep doing what you're doing Graham because I look forward to your fabulous teaching, challenge and encouragement - THANK YOU. (PS The dream is HUGE but God's got the cattle of 1000 hills... and I'm just trusting He's going to help me find a few to borrow!)

Needed to hear this Graham, thank you. While Gary Vee and I don't land in the same place at the end of the day, he has a great quote- "be a tortoise in a hare's costume." Reminds me to keep patience and contentment at the core, but from that place, take diligent action and "find a way." This video motivated me to set bigger goals and get after it. Have a killer day man 👊

Thank you for this video Graham. I always learn a lot from you. I'm taking a moment to set my big goal and then multiply it by 100. You are right, it was probably too small in the first place.

As usual, Graham delivering absolute gold content for free! Honestly Graham your free stuff is better than a lot of the very pricy courses in this space. Highly relevant, actionable and always inspiring! This week I need to make that list of creators with bigger audiences than mine (it's already started but not nearly long enough) and then begin that outreach process you described. Excited to get going and see where it leads!

Perfect video topic Graham. I'm 12 months into my first online movement course using Kajabi and the lessons you've been sharing and I've made 20k which is a nice side hustle but I would love to grow that into something that could potentially support me and my family full time!

Great video, Graham! I almost didn't even watch it, because I'm so used to people saying they'll share a secret or a method or whatever but they never really do so in the video where they promised it. I'm very glad I watched yours, though!

I think you could do a whole video on how to grow your business by collaboration or by "guest post" as you called it! That was a great bit and a helpful personal story. Makes me want to hear more details about that.

AMAZING motivational video! I most certainly needed to watch this! I am Dr. Wayde, a fresh out of school music business coach based in Atlanta. I’ve been trying to figure out how to create content that helps to answer this gut burning question “How can I help them?” (Independent artists and musicians) Thanks so much for the email that guided me to this video. Normally, I’m like, Graham, not today man, I’m trying to figure it out. This video is most certainly humbling. Thanks again!!

Poor Graham: guess what Rich! I have found the pot of gold! a scheme that will get you rich in 24 hours! Rich Graham: really. 😏 what is it poor? Poor Graham: I run ads saying I will run ads for your online business, and when I get more unsuspecting and naive customers than the cost of my ad campaigns, I’m in the green! Endless money! Rich Graham: But are you really offering value to these “customers”? Poor Graham: well, for several of my victims-I mean customers-errrgh. I mean clients… my ads strategy for them has gotten them kicked off Facebook for breaching advertising rules and their Instagram accounts have also been banned. Rich Graham: oh really? *wry smile* Poor Graham: but hey! I’m making money. And I’m gonna be rich rich rich!! Rich Graham: wait until they start asking for their money back though. Poor: huh… well my refund policy is in Spanish. And I don’t offer any money back So… I’m in the clear! Rich Graham: And what happens when they start reporting your account to Facebook. It may be tough running ads if your account is suspended too, buddy. 😉 Poor Graham: I hadn’t thought of that! 😳 Rich graham: Look Poor, instead of creating a business with a model that’s really just a time bomb waiting to explode, maybe you should consider creating your own content and letting your customers come to YOU. Don’t hassle people, just share your knowledge. And maybe then you’ll have some steady, reliable growth. Poor Graham: I never thought of that! Wow Rich, you’re a genius!
