I just came across your channel literally yesterday. Everything you do I've been doing for the last 6 years from planting native trees/saplings to regenerating a garbage property to building ponds (I have multiple pond syndrome), planting fruit trees, and now making natural aquariums. When you said you want to get a degraded property and turn it into a native plant paradise, I thought, "I gotta write this dude!" Thank you for being one of the few who give a shit and actually do something about it, and for educating others!

My sister lives in Cali and has Fremont cottonwoods that reseed in her yard. They're wonderful trees for wildlife so I was telling her she should do something like this but she's so tired and overworked w/her kids and full time job, she was joking "maybe I could make a you-dig free tree giveaway" 😅.

Love that you dug up the trees and replanted them. Free is always good. Great idea.

Green Ash is my favorite tree in my yard. Good medium canopy shape and crazy trunk and raised roots like a banyan tree.

I love that I'm not the only one whos been doing this!! I recently gave away an oak and some apple seedlings I made from apples I've eaten : ) I still have a bunch of apple seedlings and an peach from fruits I've eaten! Unfortunately my apple seedlings don't seem to like the outdoors and prefer my laundry/green room LOL 😆They're spoiled!! Next year I hope to add pears to the mix and buy a willow! A cherry willow is the ultimate goal
