I've cut my hair twice now. Both times I cut it because I felt self conscious and didn't feel "feminine" I cut it to remind myself of inner beauty rather than what were conditioned to think is feminine. I HIGHLY recommend this because my confidence and self love goes way up each time. I helps me redefine my definition of confidence and beauty.

What you do is let the hair grow out & keep it trimmed while you grow it out. It's the same as with layer haircuts.

Very helpful! I love pixies but I've had long hair for a couple years. As soon as I had my baby, the hot flashes and summer heat forced me into another pixie cut, which I was fine with because I loved it, but I realize I love the long hair even more. So now to the growing process!

The best way ive found to get my hair to grow fast is skipping washing it for a few days at a time . I currently have a pixiecut and im washing it every 2 to 3 days right now. You look so cute with a pixie! I just recently cut my hair into a pixie for the first time in my life this is the shortest it's ever been. I had to do it bc my hair was so damaged and bleached and wouldn't grow, it felt so gross and thinner out. So I got a pixie cut they did the middle to the ends a raspberry color and I just see my roots growing really fast and my natural color. I am actually excited I will be having my natural color back, it's actually really pretty idk why I ever dyed it, I can slap myself 🤭 I was thinking let it grow out and leave the raspberry color for the end tips of my hair when it gets longer bc it looks awesome and I've never seen such a raspberry color on someone before so I think it'll look cool 😎 Ive been putting essential oils and castor oils on my scalp and hair overnight once it twice a week and I do not wash my hair until the night after the oil treatment I do and it seems to be working bc my hair looks super healthy and is growing a lot faster than I'd ever imagined. I also have aloe vera shampoo, coconut milk conditioner, and coligen & biotin shampoo/conditioner. It is all healthy and works for me. I have naturally thick curly hair so when I get out the shower I put heat protection in my hair and have the Revlon brush blow-dryer and it blow dries my hair is 2 minutes, I'm constantly changing the way I style it. The only thing I am worried about is when it gets a little longer like the mullet stage what do I do? I will not rock that style sorry but I don't want to cut it short again. 😶 Idk but I am gonna have to figure out a way to style it or just have to cut it a little bit so it doesn't grow like that, any other way to avoid that? I am all new to the pixie cut, I wish I could show you a picture, some days I'm into it, some days I miss my long hair. 😶 Oh well this too shall pass! Thanks for your awesome video/advice. You rock 🤘 and look so cute with your pixie, you can def. Pull it off! 😻💕🤍

Hello, I'm twelve I got my hair cut short around 3 months ago. And I love it. But I have never been able to find a short hairstyle that still looks good after a couple of weeks. I cut my hair because my self confidence was low and I didn't feel femimine enough to have long hair. Honestly I’m a short hair gal. I love it so much, I get my long hair thrills from wigs. The longest I like my hair is a little bit below my shoulders, collarbone length basically. And Ellie’s hair length in LoU 2. I’ve grown this routine of cutting my hair into a pixie at the start of spring then letting it grow the rest of the year into a nice bob. Basically spring/summer pixie, autumn/winter bob. I do oils in my hair, bristle brush, silk pillows, everything for it since I dearly love my hair, just not long. I’m tempted to grow it long however it causes me soo many sensory issues that it freaks me out then into the bathroom with my scissors! Or I just have many breakdowns trying to rip my hair out of my skull.

I absolutely love your tips though and a lot of them I'm going to put to use for sure also I use the Garnier Fructis coconut and Macadamia hair food every time I wash or I use my argan oil hair mask

girl i feel insecure too - but thank you! i always cut the back off bc the mullet makes me feel not cute as well.
I cut my pixie 9 years ago.... I think its time to grow it out
In February I received an involuntary shag. (Looks like a mullet!) I asked for a bob. Salon owner gave me free haircuts for a year......yes, it was that bad 😔

just posted the ultimate guide to growing out you're hair - maybe you'll find it helpful! ❤️🔥
Mine is like the yours at the beginning of video lol idk what to do but tuck behind ear and swoop across forehead
I’m so glad I came across your video, you seem like such a beautiful person! Looove your free and genuine personality. Currently right before the bob stage and I haaate it, not as much as I hated the stage where I couldn’t get it behind my ears yet. I had a pixie, then went with a tapered fade. I miss it! But I miss being able to put my hair up when I’m on the fly but have bed head :(. Hats are too itchy for me… but regular thin scarfs from places like dollar tree became my go-to, and bobby pins. I would just gather the material long wise, place it at the back of my neck, grab both ends and tie it at the top of my head and the tuck the knot or bow… Leaving hair at the back base of my head open. I have finer hair, so it gave the illusion my hair was thicker. Received so many compliments with that look. For those that hate that tethered flip in the back when it’s growing out, if you can wait a bit, let the top of your hair catch up with the bottom, and the cut the bottom layer so it’s shorter than the top so it’s easier for your hair to have that tuck under effect. I let it just grow and grow, but cutting it a bit for shape helps so you’re not fighting your hair and mental demons. Lol Also, someone in the comments said that it really helps with confidence. I couldn’t agree more. Something about rocking your natural beauty without all the extras has this way of centering you. I even started walking out of the house with just tinted moisturizer and lip balm. I definitely recommend doing it at least once ladies! 💛

Thank you for watching and commenting! I also think cutting your hair when growing it out is so important for your confidence so you don't end up chopping it all off again out of frustration :)

Omg cute!! Love her
I hate that I went to the hairdresser and wanted a wolf cut and Ended up with a pixie cut, which isn’t only unflattering for my hair but also makes me super uncomfortable about myself
