I was very happy to hear her say the seedlings are from Kenya because I am currently conducting a feasibility study on an avocado growing venture. Though a 5-foot spacing is not correct, I believe she meant 5 meters, which translates to 25 square meters per tree and, therefore, 160 tree seedlings per acre.

I say plant any avocado tree. We will buy it and eat it. Matter if fact you cannot get a hass tree from a hass seed. The avocado keeps mutating. If the specie gives alot of fruits...go for it. I personally believe Hass waa developed and marketed as a niche. My plea to my fellow Africans....the market is big. You don't have to break a leg to do fruits and vegetables.

I have heard someone say there is a 1/10,000 chance of the avocado being edible if you grow directly from seed without grafting. If that is true you could waste 10 years plus of raising a tree only to have it be worthless. Sounds like it is better to graft from a known delicious tree.

The HASS Avocado variety grow very well in the Kingdom of Morocco especially in the region called Gherb (Arabic word meaning West) between The Costal city of KENITRA and the city of Larache. For me I plan to cultivate the AVOZILLA Avocado variety due to its huge weight (more than 1kg for one piece) Thanks for the video.

The ideal strategy would be 2b on the gd but unfortunately, a lotta of folks with the resources 2 invest in such capital intensive ventures reside in the diaspora. But that shdnt be a reason not 2 start. It comes down 2 how u manage the risks. Otherwise, u'll never start anything if ur afraid of losses. It is part of doing bness!

Avocado aside, this seems like a difficult woman to deal with, in all ways. She also seems good at saying things she doesn't actually mean, and smiling in an inauthentic way. She also seems to see a challenge where none exists, that sort of inferiority complex that makes women feel their word is being challenged even when it's not. She also seems like someone that likes the idea of farming, not the part of being involved in it--hence the tele-farming and the jewellery in the garden. Also seems like someone that doesn't have proper relationships with the actual people that do her farming, doesn't seem like she can even tolerate the idea of having a meal with the people that tend to her garden. Seems like someone that's been westernised and believes the west is the future, and that the western way is the way of doing things. Also seems like someone whose husband is funding her wannabe hobby, but she doesn't seem to give him the credit he deserves. But overall, Splendid interview. As much as I watch these videos for farming reasons, I couldn't help noticing these.
