First step we need a well drained pot for planting the anthurium plant. The pot that contains several number of holes placing at the bottom of the container because the anthurium needs less water to grow. If the drainage is not in the proper way it may cause the anthurium to damage. The anthurium plant is grown as a houseplant in cooler areas and as a landscaping plants.
To achieve proper drainage of the container you need to place the pebbles or stones into the container. If you are going to fill the pot with soil without the stones or pebbles it may lead to blockage of the drainage holes.
Anthurium care also requires that the soil be free draining but hold some water. The stones that's helpful to free drainage of water in the pot.
Tips to grow Anthurium plant
Make sure to water your anthurium plant regularly, but don’t over water. Only water your anthurium when the soil is dry to the touch. The plant is susceptible to root rot, so too much water can cause the roots to die. If you allow the plant to become too dry in a pot, it will slow down its growth and the rootball will be difficult to re-wet. If the rootball becomes too dry in the pot, soak the pot the anthurium plant is in for an hour to rehydrate it.

Can you use orchid mix for the planting soil? Also is it advisable to put more than one plant in a single container?

Keep the plant in shade with indirect sunlight...don't over water it. Water it only when soil is dry 2 inch down.

Anthuriums require part shade or filtered indirect light. Too much sunlight can scorch them and too little light can cause them not produce the spathes and spadixes that make them so attractive.

Anthurium don't like continually moist soil so the special Potting mix needed and this also affect on how the plants get flowers
