Any recommendations for evergreen privacy hedges that deer will absolutely not eat? I tried Youpon holly but the deer devoured them in seconds 😭

Depends on your HOA bylaws. Rule #1 don't buy in an HOA! :)

Which one is more cost effective? My sister suggested the laurel and landscaper mention the evergreen but i m curious to know which one will be low maintenance for us new home owners

Both require yearly maintenance, but it's not difficult to do. An inexpensive hedge trimmer and a tarp to make cleanup easier.

My landscaper limbed up my rows of cedars about 3 feet above ground 😩. Now I have holes between my neighbors and me. What can I plant in between the cedars in zone 8B (full southern exposure but may be shaded sometimes by the cedars as they fill in again).

How do the Giant Green Arborvitae do in the forest shade just South of Charlotte, NC? I am basically planting them in a forest. I need thick and tall privacy from a dozen nosey controlling Neighboors that surround my large property. There is not more than 1 hour of sun per day due to the tall forest oak and other trees around. If possible, to block their entire view and if they grow about 20-30’ feet tall, that’s what I’m looking for along my fence line. Any time of year good to plant these trees? If planting in shade, what type of growth measurements can I expect from them yearly?

Look up a USDA zone map to see what zone you are. It's a rough estimation (based on weather & temps) for if a given species will do well in your area.
