Have you started the newsletter?

At what point do you think we should comsider hiring someone to work for us on a newsletter business? Like is there a certain amount of subs that just makes it too impractical to do by yourself?

Hey man, how's the newsletter been going? Would love to hear more. We started a little over a month ago, took a similar approach of going ~100% paid growth upfront. Steadily growing around 400-500/day, planning to be 60-85k quality subs by year end. I've been having all of the same thoughts on team members, regarding commission-based sales person and a VA-type position for gathering sponsor/contact information. And I hear you on the lack of content out there for newsletters, pretty much just listened to everything I could from Sparkloop, My First Million, every Matt McGarry interview, etc.

We do some pretty heavy email marketing & relationship building, but it's very different for my Ecom brands. The goal there is conversions, and it works well

I fully appreciate all the wisdom you sharing here, but man your numbers are completely unrealistic to most people. Would you be open to the idea of talking about this from the perspective of starting with zero and not having that large advertising budget?

You spend 40k per months is crazy. You also could grow much faster without spending that much dude, there are way more effective ways to scale faster with less money.

Not a waste, can be insanely effective & powerful. I'm an advocate of doing both, but scaling what has traction
