Outstanding how he pushes the specific brand of seasoning but still tells you what to use if you dont have it.

Yes. Also he refers to gas grills in case someone is using one. I like how he says open minded.
Tried this foil method last night. WOW what a game changer that is! The difference/improvement to me was shocking. I have been cooking for 4 decades - and you're still taking me to school. Thanks as always for the tips & tricks and taking the time to share them with the rest of us :-)

Hi cowboy Kent my wife and I just tried your juicy pork chops and it was probably one of the best pork chop dinners I ever had. Can't wait to try other recipes
Halfway through my first video, and I can say this man is a national treasure. Happily just subscribed and I know the chops I’m about to grill are gonna be awesome. Thanks
According to Shannon - a lot of folks have really good butter. Best thing you'll hear today.
I got some pork chops today too and followed his recipe. It was absolutely delicious. Even though my family is more into beef but this was amazing and they loved it.
Porky Pig and Perry Pig.! Mr Rollins, YOU are a real treasure. Thank you for posting/sharing, when i was a kid my Dad used call my Mom's pork chops--pork chips, we had fun.
@timharper3390

Len Hart That’s sadly exactly what my Mom, Grannie, and Grandma all cooked. Thin, burnt, dry, char-pork. Luckily I’m much more handy with a chop. They got me beat big time on so many other dishes and I love em to high heaven, but I know a lot of people who don’t like pork chops for that exact reason: never had em right. Pork chips is funny and painfully true! All the best.
I never cease to smile at the humor, are you for real? I'll bet you are just as you appear on camera and that is what makes me smile because genuine people is hard to fake. I am going to try the foil and butter thing as I love a good pork chop (Iowa is pork country you know)...

I ran across Kent Rollins about 3 months ago on KZread. Some of his stuff I’ll never be able to manage but other recipes like this pork chop video are great. Hands down the most entertaining food videos of ANY food show. What color is a Granny Smith, green baby green, like me, green with envy I can’t be there. Word!! Helps being house bound with the current situation. Can’t but help social distancing out on the range. I’d like to think Kent lives on a ranch whose closest neighbor is beyond hollering range. Now I have to get me some of that seasoning for my pork chops!

I very much enjoyed your video. Nice to great minds cook alike. I do a few things to change it up. What comes out of the foil is a great dipping sauce or can be a lovely brown gravy for dipping, smothering, used on baked taters. My English side likes to sprinkle some Worcester sauce in the gravy (always optional). The other option is to mix up your personal Bar B Que sauce or your favorite store sauce and coat your dead pig for the last few minutes, do not burn the sugar. Take care from Oklahoma, Mike and Vee
Those pork chops are looking great after being cooked and I have to get some myself to cook at home.
Followed your plan to the T. You helped me put big smiles on the moms in my family today on Mother's Day. I couldn't find rib in chops so I bought whole loins and cut my own 2 inch thick chops. Boy howdy !!! Tender tender tender. Thank you & God bless you Kent Rollins

I season mine like you do but after the seasoning I take my vacuum sealer and put them in the fridge for 24 hours. Then I pull them out to warm and wrap them in foil for the first part of the cook. Like the tips and tricks on outdoor cooking. I like your channel.
Kent, I wanted to try this because I had traditionally avoided chops because they were always dry. I found some think cut chops at the store and I tried them on the grill for the time yesterday. Man o'man, did it work like a charm. I loved the flavor of those chops. I was amazed at how tender and juicy it was. And Miss Shannon is right...Kerrygold butter is amazing. I have been using it for at least a year, and that butter was amazing on those chops!!! Thank you for sharing this recipe! Word of advise for any reader, be sure to use a heavy duty foil. I used Reynolds, but it tore a little too easily. Heavy duty is the way to go.

I love living in South Texas. I get my Live Oak and Mesquite for free. You have to be able to recognize the bark and the cut portion of the wood on any kind of tree when you're picking it up. Tip of the day for whatever wood grows in your area that you like. Check your brush pickup schedule and go about a week ahead of the truck have you changed already if you need it. Be sure you leave the pile better then when you got there organized neat and clean

Shan is right, Kent. Ireland has 1) grass fed beef, and 2) The Irish don't pasturize the milk before they make the butter so you get all of that wonderfully flavored living bacteria in the butter. Mmmm!!
