“How are you?” is just a conversation starter, be natural, confident and polite in whatever you usually say to other people. I have given many interviews and my standard reply has always been: “I’m doing great, how about you?” Never felt as if interviewer didn’t like that response. Remember, both of you are professionals, I am sure you wouldn’t give an expanded answer if your colleague asked you the same question, similarly the interviewer is also used to hearing that normal reply.

I attended 5 interview, no one ask how r u, they straightly asking introduce yourself 😊

This is not the correct way, you seem to make only your way the best way. I have cleared so many interviews and found that infact asking people back on how they are leaves a much positive impression as they feel that the candidate is confident, and also that the interviewer likes that infact someone asked them

This non tech interview videos are bullshit , just answer whatever best you can say at that moment of time, don't overthink . It's all about how you present yourself as confidence on your skills and learning attitude.

Why didn't you say ma'am in the second response ? Is maam a bad word? Also, how are you answer is way too long. This much ans is unnecessary. Person can talk more on job experience and educational skills . No need to elaborate on the simple asked questions.
