How To Grease Your Effer Crane Properly!

A little how-to about greasing the boom sections on your Effer loader crane.
Effer uses bronze bushings/slide pads on their cranes and these are very long lasting but require proper maintenance to work 100%.
They will become squeaky and noisy when they get dry and performance/smoothness of the crane will be decreased.
When the booms are properly greased up I notice a remarkable difference in smoothness of the extensions.
We use Cougar Semi Synthetic 8450 Boom Grease from lube-tools.se
Really good stuff, have been using it for almost ten years I think. Sticky and lasts a long time.

Well...it depends on how much work and what type of work I have. If I have work that involves lot of extension in and out, maybe every or every other week...but maybe normally every third?

I’ve got to say I’ve picked up some great hints and tips from this video, I will definitely be investing in some cougar boom grease I use normal grease it doesn’t last and makes such a mess. Also I love your grease gun roller tool very clever so much easier and quicker than keep putting the roller in a grease keg. I’ll definitely be making one of those next week 👍 Thanks mate keep up the videos all the best from London 👍
