Thank you! You are absolutely right - Definitely not necessary to buy, buy, buy. Sometimes the most (creativity) comes from using the least... Speaking from past experiences and hundreds of dollars later.. Eeek!!

One thing I love about your journaling is how freely you decorate and play with your notebooks. There are a lot of journaling and planner videos out there, but sometimes it seems people make their journals "perfect" and I seriously don't know how they're able to do that consistently lol. I actually posted a video on my channel about how I started journaling as well! I was really inspired by the carefreeness of journaling and am going into the new year with a less "perfect" approach. I feel in the past, I would make my spreads really pretty for social media, and it didn't feel authentic to my journaling experience after a while.

I’m so happy to find another journaler who loves talking about this as much as I love thinking about it. I could listen to you talk about notebooks and journals all day long. Also, I love the seven seas journal. I bought the blank version a couple years ago and it has been the best journal by far.

And I would gladly let you talk my ears off😂 Yes, I actually bought the seven seas book because of your blog from a few years back where you interviewed Ellina. It’s the standard version, she bought it from Nanami Paper, and that’s where I ordered mine as well. Thanks for sharing your beautiful journals!

It's insane how when I started journalling daily I found so many things around me that were good for journaling and were artsy.

Every video I keep thinking we cannot be more a like in our journal love but then I find that you love junk journals too!! I'm also trying to shop my stash for 2023. I have a metric ton of stickers and scrapbook paper so that's what I've been decorating with a lot but I keep my scraps, junk mail, and tag bags too.

Another great video. Love all the note book stuff. My daughter is really into junk journaling. We go to GoodWill and she gets cheap hardback books then takes them apart and rebinds them with pages she makes. Pretty cool stuff. I am team Moleskine Expanded.

I love that you take the little things from the boxes. I recently noticed that a lot of Amazon boxes have an Edge Crush Test stamp on them somewhere and I collect them. I love using them in my journal, they just look so awesome. So, seeing someone doing the same thing is so so cool!

Just wanted to let you know that your videos have me inspired & pumped for 2023. I've been feeling 'meh' about my journal. I realized it's b/c my journal has lined pages. I don't mind lined pages in a JJ but for my planner/journal i prefer dot grid. I started setting up my next journal/ planner last night. I'm using the Jetpens Kanso Noto tomoe river paper with 320pages. I had it cut down (at Fed Ex) so it fits in my TN.

Wonderful ***** I watch all these journaling vids and most r about using printed kits and I don’t have a printer so it is very very nice to see items from around the house / everyday items . Thank you

Omg you just solved my hoarding problem 😂 I love to grab random bits of paper and things I find pretty and everyone else is like ugh, lol. It’s past 3am, but I just wanna jump out of bed and get crafty with my journal 😄 And naming my journal? Brilliant! Now I can write “hey, Ifesowapo” instead of just “hey girl”. You’re so damn creative! ❤ I’m new to this kind of journaling; been doing on and off since I was a teen, bu I was always just writing in a notebook. No frills; just get a notebook I love. Now I’m learning (through my renewed love of fountain pens) to start doing all this stuff. I have been junk journaling for maybe a year now and I absolutely love it. I had watched others junk journal videos for a long time before I was convinced to try it for myself. I am not a crafty type person but I have created some journaling pages that I believe is perfect for me. I get so much joy out of knowing that each time that I create something it is special and one of a kind. I am so glad that I stumbled on the junk journaling community here on KZread 😊💜

Yes! I make junk journals! (on my 2nd channel, the raven compendium) and I recently started using them as well. Some really lovely ideas in this video!

I use composition notebooks, one that had my used pages removed and bound elsewhere. Stapled notebooks with flimsy pages and then taping thick papers or cut out logos from boxes and take out paperbags. Receipts. The more worn out it is, the more satisfying it is to use and flip through 🎉 landing on your channel is the best inspiration for me to post mine, even if im not much of a talker or with good camera haha

I LOVE composition notebooks. I've made several for my shop using them. Sometimes I even sew fabric onto the covers and make patchwork covers! Yes, I make journals: junk journals, as well as themed ones. My favorite ones are woodland/forest.

Thank you for opening my eyes. I tend to overthink journaling. I love that you use ordinary bits and pieces. I love what you said about look around you. I also love your logo. I love personalizing everything. It just needs a little natasha to feel like mine. And most times natasha is some odd little bit that i will love. Sometimes others dont get it. But i love it because its me and its mine. I added a little Keychain to my bag. Its a cute little teddy bear and i absolutely love it and feel its definitely mine. I feel this video on all levels. And thank you for igniting that creative spark in me. Another reason i fell in love with junk journaling. Odd bits and pieces randomly working together.

I was using a journal from Barnes and Noble, but they’ve now discontinued selling them. I have 6 volumes filled from last year to now. I use composition notebooks for all my recent journaling. They’re inexpensive and have lots of room to write. And they have a sewn binding. I close them with a colorful clip.

Fellow composition notebook fan here. I use them for my writing; they actually hold up well to fountain pens

Good ideas. I used comp books for years. But bought blank or grid pages from the university bookstore. Personally, I don’t like the look of packing tape. I think I would use Madge Podge. It would hold items down and dry clear.

I was taught how to junk journal with hardcover books and bind junk paper..I think I'll be using those books I create to Journal a and its a them for Bible study.. it's so unique a and the paper I find is awesome

I’m pretty sure you’re going to love the cross field. But I suppose it’s possible that you won’t but I have to tell you once I tried the Crossfield I get café notes and Crossfield and Hobonichi’s and that’s it… Besides pen and gear and caliber from CVS. Besides those four there’s nothing else. Lol

What do you journal? I used to journal until a babysitter got into my journals and I felt violated. Now I don’t feel safe to express feelings yet I would like my kids to know me through them.

Why not use clear matte medium to stick things down as well as on top to seal?

I’m not sure if I heard you correctly but it sounds like you mention that you have a Patreon and I of course pause the video and immediately went to Patreon and when I search it it it doesn’t come up at your name comes up where I used to be a Patreon but it doesn’t allow for me to see any tears or whatever. If you have a Patreon I want to be a part of it of course. Maybe you were just talking in the past sense but I just wanted to comment in case somehow my Patreon it’s not letting me see you or some thing.

You can take the stickers off of pop bottles very slowly and stick them in your journal I found that out the other day And you can take the stickers off of shampoo bottles make up bottles and deodorant bottles
