I actually liked all the colors that peeked through after the pink was out and blue had faded. Overall it all looked cool and bold in the end.

As a fellow licensed cosmetologist, just felt it should be known that the opposite color of blue is orange, not yellow. it may seem like a technicality, but when neutralizing, toning, and coloring it can make what should be a beautiful bright platinum into a muddy green/grey color. Not trying to come across as rude! Your work is beautiful!

She had previously dyed her hair the pinks//blue//purple combo, and then the blue before she did the pink. Those colors don’t just go away after you dye it again, it’s just adding another layer. So the color remover basically just removes all those layers, one at a time

It’s extremely sad to see how low someone’s self esteem can be. I feel bad for anyone that needs to not only hide their own appearance online, but also verbally abuse others that they are clearly intimidated by. Nova Sherfield exactly . I dyed my hair just as many times as she did . Except i have more hair . But when you been doing it for a while and know what to do , it won’t be as damaged or fall out at all

From a licensed stylist,..... You done an amazing job! Corrective color removal, while maintaining the integrity of the hair as is, then giving the client what she wants, equals job well done! 👍

jaidy xo Congratulations and welcome to the cosmetology profession, being a colorist is a very lucrative, rewarding and provides lots of opportunities. Do you remember your color theory basics? There are primary, secondary and tertiary colors then there is warm and cool undertones...the color wheel is your color bible it’s the truth!! My point is this whenever you pull color out it will reveal secondary color and undertones then you formulate based on law and your color wheel. Good luck on your new career journey and continue to invest in advance education. Charge what your worth💰!!!

I’ve been a licensed stylist for 26 years and have always loved the challenge and artistry of coloring hair. A lot has changed regarding technique over the years but not the basic laws of color theory. First I like to say all money 💴 is not worth the integrity of a clients hair or your professional reputation. The goal of every stylist is to grow your brand, business and generate residual income but not at the expense of a bag for today. It’s important to educate the client on how to maintain their hair and to come back for regular service. The color was nice 👍. FYI since her hair was already porous from DIY, direct dyes don’t need to be removed with bleach but with Malibu color gel, it removes color, evens out the porosity and conditions the hair and keeps the integrity. She will definitely need conditioning treatments, oil and regular trims because that hair is on life support.

Her hair fried and stiff. You did an awesome job with the coloring though. You can tell you know your what you are doing. But it is still fried. But I guess her only matter was the color and you definitely achieved that. Hope I didn’t sound harsh.

Some people just want to have fun and dye their own hair not a wig and if it falls out, it falls out you can shave it all off and rock a bald look and do the whole process over again. Black people are so obsessed with healthy hair its boring, she looks great i love her hair its looks like candy floss.

I came from watching hair fail videos and i gotta say, KZread was looking out for me. I love me some crazy bright colors and you treated that woman right! 👌 Her hair looks amazing, she looks so happy and the before/after pics are wild! I loved her color before too, but something about the toxic green color looks so cool to me. 😍 Its nice to see a stylist treat her client so well too. Delivering what she wants, but keeping the hair as healthy and conditioned as possible too.

The green looks so good with her skin tone. You worked it!

When you took her color out it reminded me of a mood ring changing color lol she must love vibrant colors

As a professional cosmetologist I’d never sacrifice the health of any client’s hair for any chemical service especially color.. I definitely wouldn’t be using 40&30 volume developer on this client’s already damaged hair in the first place; no amount of Olaplex or any other bond repair is going to fix that, once that cuticle layer is blown open and those disulfide bonds are broken down, there’s no repair.

The hair is on her head. She was there when it got dyed the previous four times. *She knows the state her hair is in. She's paying money to get her hair done, obviously she's doing what she wants to do with it.* So many basic people in the comments don't know how to handle colored hair and people who want to look different, it's very sad. People damage their hair in all sorts of ways because it's fun and it makes them happy. We all dealt with relaxers and heat damage to look pretty before natural hair journeys became trendy. Not everybody has to want the same thing for their hair. It sounds so taxing to care so much about hair that you have a problem with other women who don't feel the same. Plus, I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I've heard from other people that _hair grows back after you chop it off._ Shocking, I know!

oh wow! this is cool af. usually when i use hair color to remove semi-permanent colors it comes back when a chemical touches it like bleach but thats really cool it worked out! loved this!

She looks so pretty. Love that she actually used her own hair. Have her back!!!!!

At this point just get a wig. She’s gonna need a big chop after all this now (she needed it before but dang this is doing too much)

Hellboy nobody pressed. It’s just a suggestion. Ofc she can do what she wants. I will say wigs are expensive if you want a natural look so I understand but sometimes a wig can be helpful
