How does common sense help one answer why quantum tunnelling occurs? A particle is able to surmount a barrier it could not conventionally cross? Or Quantum Entanglement where a system has to be considered as a whole because the particles therein are correlated in a way that suggests a communication between the particles in the absence of any means for this communication to occur? Common sense would have you believe the world is flat and everything else goes around us. So the basis for any meaningful conversation shouldn't be common sense it should be common principles of inquiry which have proven extremely effective in the past. Follow the evidence wherever it may lead ,even to unintuitive conclusions, so long as they are borne out by the evidence. If common sense is useless in answering questions of Quantum Mechanics, and God is infinitely more complex than the laws he created, isn't it being degrading and disrespectful to God to employ such primitive methods of understanding Him?

Not everybody understands what you wrote. Why would god burden us with complex understanding to understand him. I use the term "him" due to the human language being limited like our brains i.e. Can one imagine a colour that does not exist?
