I was so excited to learn more Spanish today, I watched this video first thing this morning, even before coffee LOL I had been looking for a video with 'commands' in Spanish. I want to learn Spanish the way a child would, learning simple phrases they would hear from a parent at home. That's the ideal way for me to learn a language. I don't learn by conjugating verbs, not at all. I learn with the same phrases and sentences that kids hear from their parents. Thank you so much Liliana for these videos, they are THE BEST! I appreciate it.

I truly appreciate this video! As a teacher, many of these phrases will be useful in the classroom with the ELL students. 🥰
So many commands! I don't think I could have thought up so many commands in my native language. But a lot of new and important vocab in this video. As always, thank you, Liliana!

I’ve got hooked on to these videos because of the voice and the content. I had so much difficulty in using the language apps which have a conformity of knowing but not conversing made me quit all digital learning techniques and follow a conventional method of learning Spanish. That’s when I came across these videos. I would simply say.. thank you a zillion times. ❤

Thank you for including both genders. Most videos I see out there tend to focus on the masculine which is a disservice since it will be incorrect when addressing females with masculine word forms or when women describe themselves using masculine adjectives.

Hola,I'm not disrespecting your language skills! but I live in the UK and was taught that two LL's together were pronounced as a Y ,and you pronounce it more as a Ja sound, is that regional, or are you from South America? I like your videos, even though I have studied Spanish for over 20 years, I don't use it enough apart from when I am in Spain, so need to keep practicing so not to forget the amount I know!

Hi there, so just like in English, there are regional differences with the Spanish language. I’m from Mexico and that’s the Spanish I teach. There are some big differences between both countries, but I have many Spanish friends and we’ve never had an issue with communication. Thanks for watching 🤗

Abre la puerta. Cierra la ventana. Apaga las luces. Enciende la televisión. Siéntate. Levante. Cállate. Habla más alto. Escúchame. Repite después de mi. Ven aquí. Ve allá. Espérame. Date prisa. Toma asiento. No te muevas. Mírame. Lee esto. Escribe tu nombre. Firma aquí. Usa este bolígrafo. No toques eso. Lava tus manos. Cepilla tus dientes. Toma una ducha. Bebe aqua. No fumes. Mantenete enfocado. Relájate. Ten paciencia. No llegues tarde. Llega a tiempo. Pon atención. Sigue las reglas. Respeta a los demás. Ayúdame. No seas grosero. Sonríe. Di por favor. Di gracias. Disculpate Perdoname Sé amable. Se generoso Sé honesto Sé tú mismo Diviértete Baja la música Limpia tu habitación Saca la basura Alimenta al perro Riega las plantas
Why is stay focused different for both genders?
@SpanishWithLiliana
Жыл бұрын
Hi there, a lot of words in Spanish are gender based. The ones that usually don’t change end in the letter ‘e’ like ‘amable’; that’s the same for both. Their plurality can change as well depending in the number of people. I hope it helps 🤗

Buen diá lo k yo veo mal d estas clases esq repites más la pronunciación de español kla dl inglés, deveria ser al revez,xq lo k stamos aprendiendo es el inglés y no el español. No k para volver a escuchar la pronunciación en inglés se tiene k retroceder. Es mi punto de vista

I tried this lesson and found it difficult to follow. If you’re teaching Spanish to English speakers you should state English first and Spanish after. Also you go to fast and should probably repeat either more slowly of another time.

You know KZread has a setting where you can slow down the video. Try that. I found it easy to follow at the speed being taught but everyone learns at a different pace.
you did not clarify the rules because in every culture. theres a difference giving commands to a common person, friend or to a lower ranking social person than to an elderly or an authority.
Amiga se supone que es para principiantes. Parece que te estan apurando que pronuncias muy veloz
Not clear who you give those commands to - that's why I came here to distinguish between persons, and no explanations at all...

You're right that she's mixed up the usted and tu forms of sentence structure in some of this. Anytime you see a phrase ending in -te it's already in the informal tu form. Beginning at the first sentence the verbs should be as follows for the tu or familiar you form: Abres la puerta. Cierras la ventana. Apagas las luces. Enciendes la televisión. Siéntate. Levántate. Cállate. Hablas más alto. Escúchame. Respites después de mí. Vienes aquí. Vas allá. Esperas me. Date prisa. Tomas asiento. No te muevas. Miras me. Lees esto. Escribes tu nombre. Firmas aquí. Usas este bolígrafo. No toques eso. Lavas tus manos. Cepillas tus dientes. Tomas una ducha. Bebes agua. No fumes. Mantente enfocado. Relájate. Tienes paciencia. No llegues tarde. Llegas a tiempo. Prestas atención. Or Préstame atención-pay attention to me. Sigues las reglas. Respetas a los demás. Ayúdame. No seas grosero. Etc.
