You guys can try putting greek yogurt into the dry food. Make sure to check with your vet if you're insecure about any food choices to give to your dog.

@@invertedelbows2322 ok what good things do they have in them. Do you know the process of how kibble is made? I suggest you look it up. And contrary to believe raw is not anymore expensive. Pre made raw meals are but if you so it yourself it's real cheap. Just needs sun research and half a brain and it can be done. I've been feeding raw for nearly 20 yrs well before it became fashionable. I use the prey model diet. With great success.

I take the bowl, show it to my dog and run around the house for a while. He chases, gets really excited, then I give it to him and he eats it. Works every time. Saved me a lot of money.

when i do this, my shibe will either 1. eat the dry food wit whatever meat i put in or 2. pick at the small bits of meat and i'll hear the dry foods being spat back into the bowl.

Its actually better and healthier for them to feed them a raw diet..or at least cooked meat ..because dry food doesn't have enough protein and the companies make so much of it in order to sell it and try to save money by putting less actual protein in or enough substance in it. You should research more about it. I never knew much about it myself, but did my research and makes a lot of sense.

Haru is so funny and cute. Our Shiba Inu mix, Lily, is the same way about dry food. Only she will pick out the treats and spit out any kibble she gets by accident :)

my shiba Hachie doesn't love dry kibble too lol I do the same thing, add the Stella & Chewy patties to get him to gobble his food lol he still manages to pick out the chicken bits most of the time lol

Here in the Atlanta area, Costco has a fresh chicken/vegetable dog food that our inus will kill for. And they can both read - show them the box at a distance, they know what it is. Comes in a proper pate log and as moist kibble. Made in the USA, I read labels very closely. For a real treat, costco also has inexpensive tinned salmon. We open the can, rinse to get some of the salt out, and mix with regular kibble. No hungry inus after dinner. Haru does seem to be a bit picky though.

This is the same way Shelby the husky from Gone to the Snow Dogs eats. She to is such a Diva😁

I used reverse psychology. I give him the dry food first and give him a minute to eat the food. If he doesn’t eat it, I then pick it up and pretend it’s human food by pretending to eat it on a table. I tell him no he cannot eat and show him that there no food anymore because I ate it. Give it another minute and then tell the dog to sit, then he sits and you give him the dry food like a treat. That surprisingly worked!

AustinAnimates for you or the dog? I gaurantee the dog has no satisfaction chewing shitty biscuits now put a meaty bone down and feed them raw diet and you'll see a very satisfied dog.

Which brand dog food it is

I have a Rottweiler and she is boogie too.. as a puppy the breeder gave her diamond puppy food so we too kept her on it until she stopped eating it I tried everything so I slowly switched to purina one smart blend large breed puppy and also the wet food I would give her 2 cups of the dry food and a whole can of the wet food she absolutely loved it but with feeding her wet food her bowels were constantly loose which was a pain to clean up and I knew it couldn’t be healthy for her so I completely took out all of the wet food and just gave her 3 cubs of dry food which for a couple weeks was fine she love the dry food by itself but now she’s refusing to eat it so I’m thinking of just buying chicken to boil and put into her dry food

I gave my dog chicken, _one time_, and now she never eats her dog food. She has to eat whatever we're eating..

A dog will eventually eat if they go hungry. My dog always begs for meat and chicken. We give her some as a treat occasionally but not as a staple meal. If she goes hungry....oh well! Its her loss, there is always food (kibble) available on the floor 24/7

Sometimes it's also the brand of food and type of food you get. I have a husky and she is very picky about the brand. Also one thing I did to help is take a few pieces and put them on the floor leading to the bowl. This way they eat piece by piece learning that it is tasty food.

I dont recommend giving by hand because then the dog would get used to that. It's fine if dogs dont eat for a few days because dogs can actually survive one month without eating anything but drinking tons of water. What we did to get ourdog to eat dog food was that we just put a bowl and left their until she ate when she was hungry because there was nothing else to eat. After that start getting the dog into routine every day. Also our dog didn't eat the dog food until 3 days.

My puppy will not eat his kibble the first night he ate a lot of it and now he’s not interested. I have to put pieces of cooked chicken or raw ground meat into it.

We feed our doggo dry food and she eats it all the time. When we ask her: "Do you want food?" she runs all over our backyard and just pleases us to give her some dry food

It's the opposite. My dog loves dry food and gets wet food on special occasions when I have to give them meds

My dog used to love dry dog food. Then I gave him a treat of ground beef and the dog will not eat dry kibble anymore. I tried the trick of sprinkling meat on top of the kibble. That fooled the dog a couple of times but now he will pick out the meat. Once they eat real food they will starve before going back to kibble.

My dogs always eat dried food, so it's not a problem for me..But anyways, nice vid! :D

I’ve had a husky for a year now she is the most pickiest eater she only likes wet food she doesn’t like any human food or dry food even blended dry food so I decided to leave her dry food plain in her bowl she left it all day and night. What if my dog picks out the meat. I've tried it all to trick my dog into eating dry dog food...you name it I've tried it! At the end of the day he will not eat his dry food. It was 7 days of not eating at all til I gave in bc I felt bad he hasn't eaten so I gave him chicken. My dog is smart.
