Bro , I bought a pen 60$ and I left it in my jeans and washed my jeans 😭 I had to fill up my truck and that was 120$. I was so upset and I haven’t bought another penjamin since lol Without thinking about it , I stopped smoking and it wasn’t hard to let it go. I got the wioa grant & had to pass a math & reading test at a 9th grade level got approved for $7500 grant i don't have to pay back. Get it through your local work force investment board in your city.

Just coming out of school it won’t be easy getting a local job just cus you don’t have the experience. So honestly don’t be surprised if you’re only option is over the road… It’s definitely a great way to get experience up.

Sorry for the late response, but look into Michigan Works.

Once you get your CDL through a shady practice... if you find a carrier...you'll need on-the-job training... if you can't cut the mustard they'll send you home and what are you going to do.

In Florida... You can get a permit, rent a truck, go to a DOT Doctor for physical & drug test, & get your own CDL on your own... Save $5,000 to $9,000!!! It will cost between $500 - $800 depending how many times you rent a Tractor Trailer for...

I think he meant that getting approved for the Michigan Works program that pays for trucking driver training school takes that long to process your application. Then you would go to school once it’s processed and learn to drive.

This is a very impressive update. I am from Nigeria, I have been longing to get a job in the USA as a truck driver. I really wish I have a friend in the US that can invite me over, when I come over I'll then goto CDL school and start actualizing my dream. I know people may be afraid to help a random person, but trust me any good(help) you give to someone always has a way to come back in folds.

Come to the U.S. … SWIFT will hire you, they may even pay for you to fly out and go to their school. Call a recruiter, the number is on the website, see what they say. You don’t need anyone to invite you. Swift pays for your hotel while you train, and after that, you’ll go OTR with a trainer for a little bit and then move into your own truck. You may not actually need to find a place to live if you’re willing to just do long-haul 24/7, Do your research, learn about the U.S. roadway laws and regulations, since you’re from Africa. You can do it.

Lol you must be a 60 year old driver that thinks you have to go over the road after getting your CDL. Sorry to tell you but times have changed you’re not required to go over the road after getting your CDL.

I was quoted 3500 for Cdl training-clp studying, behind the wheel training, pretrip, dmv test, dot, etc. But I can get my clp by myself and I’ve learned the pretrip as well. If I only wanted the 15-hour behind the wheel training, how much would you expect a cdl school to charge on average? Also I can rent out a truck by myself for the test. California

I'm so happy to share this with you I was referred to *clean* *Expunged* online and I contacted him for help, I had a shoplifting misdemeanor and two felonies erased from my background records. I also had a reckless driving charge and a couple of tickets all cleared from my driving records. They're very legit and trustworthy.
