Don’t brush after taking your durag off. The durag lays your hair and brushing slightly lifts it... if you have to brush use a soft brush and lightly brush the areas that need it

New viewer. Im 2 months post buzz cut and finally seeing some waveage! It has been frustrating learning it takes time and proper methods before seeing waves... I'm glad I've come across a Female Wave wearer because I honestly started thinking it wouldn't work for my VERY tight, "4z 😂" curl patterned hair. I think you will be a huge help with your content for those like me! Especially maintenance, coloring, cutting etc info for us deciding to wear a low cut long-term. Your hair is beautiful and simply achieved!

I'm so glad you found it to be helpful! I've started growing it out since I had my daughter but the short hair is my favorite because I gives you so much of your styling time back!

Use the Coco and Shea butter cream wavebuilder and get the soft shine wavebuilder all of those products work really well together salute 💪😎💯

SO I want to get waves and Im planning on getting a hair cut, my hair is naturally curly. What would you advise I should ask for whenever i go in to actually get it cut? Like I dont want it too short but short enough to have some deep waves

iterra barnes hey. I just cut mines. I cut it similar to the young lady in the video. We used a number 2 guard which is not to low and not to high. And just faded the sides and the back a little bit. You could also find a picture to show your barber a cut you want. 😊

iterra barnes I agree with Kristen! Not sure how I missed this. I mentioned in the video that I get a #1 with the grain. I used to keep the top longer but I like the shorter hair maintenance. I hope you’ve found a length that you love! It took me a few cuts to find my “go-to”

Hi Inga! Not sure if you've figured this out already! I imagine so, it's essentially a longer curl lying down! It may require more product as the hair gets longer but otherwise, I suspect that maintenance would be similar.

I only brush in the am when I take my durag off and about a minute to lay it down before I cover it at night. I use product on it about twice a week

Not sure if you're still rocking a low cut. I saw deep waves (sticking even after a wash) around 2 months in.
