Santa Fe de Antioquia is a municipality in Colombia, located in the Western subregion of Antioquia, the department of which it was the capital until April 17, 1826. It borders on the north with the municipalities of Giraldo and Buriticá, on the northeast with the municipalities of Buriticá, Liborina and Olaya, to the east with the municipalities of Olaya and Sopetrán, to the south with the municipalities of Ebéjico, Anzá and Caicedo, and to the west with the municipalities of Caicedo, Abriaquí and Giraldo.
Santa Fe is a national monument for its admirable and beautiful architecture from the colonial era; It has 7 churches and a large number of houses from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. It is part of the Network of heritage towns of Colombia.

The Western Bridge, so named because it is located in western Antioquia, is a Colombian suspension bridge that connects the municipalities of Olaya and Santa Fe de Antioquia, to the east and west of the Cauca River, respectively. At the time it was considered the seventh most important suspension bridge in the world.
